Time for the rebound? HelloFresh, BYD, Troilus

  • Gold

When will the rebound finally come? Many investors are probably asking themselves this question these days. More minor recoveries are used to sell off, and sustainable positive development is stalled. Numerous shares from various sectors have lost significantly in recent days and weeks. DAX newcomer HelloFresh had disappointed with the outlook for 2022 but now receives backing from two analysts at once. BYD lost around 5% in value yesterday alone. The Chinese automaker has published ambitious sales targets for the coming year. Troilus Gold is unable to detach itself from the overall weak gold sector. At the same time, the CEO is optimistic about surprising positively with the upcoming resource update. All three companies could be ripe for a rebound if the stock market plays along.

BioNTech, Bayer, Ayurcann: From vaccination records to cannabis

  • Cannabis

The COVID-19 pandemic is dominating the headlines. There is no end in sight to the pandemic. The shares of BioNTech are benefiting from this. The Mainz-based Company has developed the most successful vaccine to date. The blockbuster is likely to remain in demand and generate billions in revenue for BioNTech. Thus, Berenberg sees a price target of USD 400. Health Minister Karl Lauterbach referred to a necessary vaccination rate of over 90% in the ARD program "Anne Will". BioNTech is currently expanding its production capacity. Just like Ayurcann. Because the legalization of cannabis opens the door to a billion-dollar market for the Canadian Company. Bayer also made headlines yesterday - the US Supreme Court is taking a closer look at the glyphosate dispute. That is new food for the gamblers. They have the Bayer share firmly in their grip.

Steinhoff, HelloFresh, Aspermont: From flop to top

  • Digitization
  • Aspermont
  • Steinhoff
  • HelloFresh
  • technology
  • fintech

The stock markets continue to be very nervous. The German leading DAX index could not do anything with the good guidance from the US and was slightly in the red. Among the striking shares are the papers of HelloFresh. The cooking box mail-order Company disappointed investors and analysts with its forecast for 2022. The situation is quite different at Aspermont. The preliminary figures were convincing, and analysts see considerable share price potential due to the entry into the FinTech business. In contrast, Steinhoff shares remain a plaything for gamblers. Although there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel, legacy issues have the ailing retail Group and its stock in their grip.

Megatrend stocks: BioNTech, Plug Power, Memiontec

  • Technology

The world's stock markets have been very nervous in recent days and weeks. Especially with growth stocks, investors need nerves of steel at the moment - the prices are very volatile. In such unsettled times, one can sleep more soundly if one bets on companies that profit from megatrends. If there is also positive company news at the same time, all the better. This scenario is currently the case for hydrogen leader Plug Power and German biotech giant BioNTech. The latter has just reported an important step in the cancer field. But also, the still largely unknown Memiontec, as a specialist for water treatment, benefits from a megatrend and shines with growth and a record order backlog.

BYD, Standard Lithium, Graphano Energy: Electromobility drives share prices

  • Electromobility

After the sell-off last Friday, the stock market lights are back on green as of Monday. Shares from the electromobility sector can also benefit from this. These include the shares of BYD, Standard Lithium and Graphano Energy. In addition to a technical countermovement, the three companies have recently published positive news. BYD has received a significant order from Spain, Standard Lithium has secured fresh capital and a well-known investor, and newcomer Graphano Energy is successfully pushing ahead with its graphite project.

Plug Power with a bang - what are Nel and First Hydrogen up to?

  • Hydrogen

Hydrogen shares are in demand again. The basis for the industry is the political will for hydrogen to become a central pillar of the energy transition. It applies to numerous industrialized countries, and Germany's new traffic light coalition will also stick to it. But there is also positive news from the companies in operational terms. Following ThyssenKrupp's plans to float its hydrogen division on the stock market, Plug Power has now reported a major order with charisma. That should also give new impetus to hydrogen shares such as First Hydrogen and Nel.

BioNTech, Valneva, Cardiol Therapeutics: Vaccination boosters also share boosters?

  • Biotechnology

The Corona pandemic has been with us all for a good 18 months now, and there is no end in sight. While the industrialized countries are boosting their vaccines, large parts of the world's population have still not been vaccinated for the first time. That means that shares of manufacturers of vaccines or drugs against COVID-19 will continue to be the focus of investors. Driven by the booster and mandatory vaccination discussions, BioNTech has left the correction behind, and the share is marching towards EUR 300. Drug developer Cardiol Therapeutics should now pick up again after the successful capital increase. In any event, analysts see price potential. Vaccine developer Valneva benefits from the EU order but has not yet recovered from Tuesday's "flash crash".

Nel, ITM Power, dynaCERT: Hydrogen shares unstoppable

  • Hydrogen

Since the beginning of October, hydrogen stocks have been celebrating a terrific comeback. The sector has clearly left behind the strong correction since February 2021. Even the climate conference without concrete results cannot stop the rally. Even the steel and industrial group Thyssenkrupp is reportedly toying with the idea of listing its hydrogen electrolyzer business on the stock market. Because one thing is clear: More and more countries are relying on hydrogen for a successful energy turnaround. In Europe alone, electrolysis capacities for "green hydrogen" are to be multiplied to 40 gigawatts by 2030. The US investment bank Jefferies is correspondingly optimistic about the potential of hydrogen companies. The market will continue to grow significantly. The analysts' favorite is ITM Power, but Nel is also recommended. The same could soon apply to dynaCERT.

Climate conference ends: Nel, Plug Power and Defense Metals continue with momentum

  • RareEarths

After two weeks, the climate conference in Glasgow has come to an end. The results are manageable. Although coal and other fossil fuels were declared to be phased out for the first time, the wording was watered down several times. For example, it was only possible to agree on a call that the use of coal-fired power plants without CO2 capture should be "gradually reduced". But even without concrete resolutions, one thing is sure: the energy turnaround is in full swing, and investor darlings Nel and Plug Power are again stepping on the gas. Defense Metals could be due for a reassessment after the completion of drilling.
