Hydrogen shares step on the gas again: Nel ASA, Plug Power and First Hydrogen profit
Hydrogen stocks such as Nel, Plug Power and First Hydrogen made significant gains yesterday. Nel is benefiting from a million-dollar grant from the US Department of Defense, and the stock is fighting a downward trend. First Hydrogen, the year's top performer, is also driven by European expansion, its own fueling station network, and a compelling presentation at an investor conference. With the positive industry sentiment, the share prices of Plug Power and ITM Power are also picking up - in some cases, by double digits. Whether as a drive system for vehicles or as a substitute for natural gas, experts believe that hydrogen has a bright future. Governments are promoting it heavily, and companies are also making progress.

JinkoSolar, TubeSolar, Encavis - Shares for the energy turnaround
The phase-out of fossil energy generation is a done deal in Germany, but there is still a long way to go. Germany's share of renewable energies in electricity generation was 42.4% in 2021. However, this covered only 19.7% of Germany's energy consumption. Since the flare-up of the Ukraine crisis, the expansion of renewable energies is to be accelerated. A balanced mix is essential. Spring and summer are the main times for solar power, while in fall and winter, when the days are shorter, wind power is the primary source of electricity. If we want to achieve the 2030 targets, a massive expansion is essential. Today we take a look at three renewable energy companies.

Biogen, XPhyto, BioNTech: Alzheimer's disease, depression, cancer - Pharma for life
About 350 million people worldwide are affected by depression, a disorder of the brain. Each person also has a 16 to 20% chance of becoming depressed. Reason enough for the Canadian Company XPhyto Therapeutics to research a drug that is not addictive and can defeat the mental health-related medical condition. This week, Biogen, among others, achieved a breakthrough with an active substance against Alzheimer's disease. And if you follow the Bundesliga closely, you may be aware of the cases of testicular cancer among the players. Now BioNTech senses a new opportunity...

Up to 200% share price potential: Kion, BioNTech, Aspermont in analyst check
The profit warning was a shock for Kion shareholders. Accordingly, the share price halved to EUR 20 in September alone. Now analysts are also slashing their estimates. The price targets for the forklift manufacturer are falling accordingly. Berenberg surprises with a high price target for the BioNTech share. At the same time, the analysts emphasize their hope for a continued generous dividend. Shareholders could thus be kept in good spirits until the next blockbuster. The roadshow of Aspermont in Germany has probably also created a good mood. At least the share price has jumped. The current consolidation could be an entry opportunity. Analysts see a price potential of over 200%.

Verbio, Kleos Space, KWS Saat - This news is moving share prices!
Increased uncertainties in geopolitics, rampant inflation with exploding commodity and energy prices, and higher interest rates are making it increasingly difficult for companies to meet the forecasts they issued at the beginning of the year. Recent examples include battery manufacturer Varta and real estate financier Hypoport, which had to withdraw their annual targets. In addition, however, a number of companies have been able to surprise on the upside despite all the challenges.

Plug Power, dynaCERT, Varta: Where there is shadow, there is also light
GreenTech shares have been booming in recent weeks, and rightly so: regenerative energy sources and innovative drives are now often even cheaper than proven technology. Coupled with zero emissions, this is a decisive advantage. We explain why some shares are nevertheless weakening and show where there are interesting opportunities.

Favorable entries at Kion, Defense Metals, Nordex: The GreenTech rally is coming back soon!
The daily analysis of stock market movements may not be an absolute joy for many investors at the moment. Nevertheless, in addition to numerous burdens, there are also bright spots. The warehouse logistics expert Kion is a long-term growth stock available now at 80% below its high. At rare earth explorer Defense Metals, initial drilling is delivering good results. GreenTech stocks JinkoSolar and Nordex should benefit from the boom in alternative energy generation for many years to come. As the saying goes, "Buy when the guns are roaring!" - they have been doing that for seven months now. Is the next rally already lurking around the corner?

BYD, Kleos Space, Palantir - Market leaders in the clearance sale
In the wake of the major interest rate hike, the US Federal Reserve increased by 75 basis points, and the stock markets again went into a dive. After the statement by Chairman Jerome Powell, the Dow Jones lost more than 1,000 points over the day, and the Nasdaq technology index also ended the day with significant losses. That threatens a further test of the lows for the year. In the course of this, established market leaders from various sectors corrected and now offer attractive long-term entry opportunities at a reduced level.

Uniper and Kion in shock, partial mobilization at BASF and Meta Materials
For the first time in recent history, an announced appearance by Putin did not take place. In the morning yesterday, the news finally rang out that Russia had been so afraid of for the past few weeks: Putin announced partial mobilization. It likely involves an additional 300,000 troops who will now go into mobilization. News about the war apparently only impacts the stock market if it also conceals economic news, because the market rose despite expected escalations. However, the consensus now seems to be that a sharp slowdown in economic growth is expected worldwide. Currently, many stocks are adjusting to a new view: interest rates are back, so capitalization models are recalculating, especially for growth stocks. Where should attention be paid now?

Moderna, BrainChip Holdings, Infineon - And the winner is?
For many years now, the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) has been selecting the 50 most innovative companies in the world. A few days ago, the hit list was published for the sixteenth time. The top ranks are occupied by Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Alphabet and Tesla. German companies are only found with Siemens from rank 20. Innovations play an important role for investors because they enable competitive advantages, which sooner or later translates into rising share prices. But global companies are not always the only ones to be considered; it is often lucrative to look at the second tier.
