After a sharp correction, the stabilization of the stock markets - due to concerns about faster than expected interest rate increases - has been successful. The DAX was able, at least temporarily, to fend off a fall below the psychologically important 15,000 point mark. The German benchmark index is driven by banks and financial stocks, which have outperformed for weeks.
