Tesla, wallstreet:online, Amazon: Buckle up!

  • Investments

Today's markets have to accept high losses on a broad front. The reasons cited are, of course, the rising number of infections and the fear of a new lockdown due to the corona pandemic. Despite the strong recovery since March, do we still see a W formation with new lows? That would probably be a disaster for some industries. Others, as absurd as it sounds, would benefit from home offices and boredom within their own four walls. In addition to e-commerce companies like Amazon, online brokers reported rising Q2 figures and a sharp increase in the number of new accounts opened, almost through the entire sector. Generation Z discovered the fun of gambling and, as can be seen in the example of Robinhood in the USA, provided for a high increase in trading activity. You will certainly not lose this if you have to stay at home again.

Amazon, Apple, Almonty: Triple-A: Unique position is required!

If a company today does not shine with exclusivity, it floats with the masses. Once overlooked, the brand name is not even enough for successful poster advertising. It's different for the world market leaders, the blockbusters of the New Economy. Having gotten used to the smartphone in childhood, today's young people know all the features of the mobile companions. Time in the real world is dwindling, as life online is much more colourful, moving, and captivating - second-hand living is becoming the dominant daily routine. No wonder that the Companies that created this world for us are among the most expensive stocks on the stock market - because they have turned the relationship between man and machine into a perfect business model.

Bayer, Triumph Gold, BioNTech - decisive phase!

  • Investments

Almost everyone knows the philosophies proclaimed by the great and wise stock market gurus. “Never try catch a falling knife" or "buy on the sound of cannons, sell on the sound of trumpets”. What is true? In the case of Bayer, after the Monsanto disaster, possibly higher than planned fines and a cracking profit warning, one might think that everything has already been priced in. However, it is still not known how and when the Monsanto disaster will end. The fact is, there are other, more appealing papers at the moment ...

Ballard Power, Royal Helium, NEL ASA - Through the roof!

Hydrogen shares are the non plus ultra on the world's stock markets at the moment. Through the series, papers double if they are only associated with the noble gas, this topic is hot off the press! The alternative to fossil fuels, which allows emission-free mobility with fuel cells and serves as energy storage. The hundreds of millions in federal funding programs for research with hydrogen is fueling the hype. This current situation may be comparable to the solar boom ten years ago. At the latest, one could say that the wheat is separating from the chaff after the initial hype.

BioNTech, BIGG, Bitcoin - The traffic lights are green!

  • Investments

A trend is present when the price of security tends to move in a specific direction, even under fluctuation. To play this trend correctly and to make more significant price gains, one should recognize the signals of a trend reversal. With Bitcoin & Co., this could soon be the case. The stabilization phase is still underway, but buying pressure has increased in the last few days. Companies that have a unique position in the crypto market could benefit from this.

BioNTech, Barrick Gold, Velocity Minerals - Golden Times!

No! The end of the gold price increase has yet to be reached. The problems, which have become even more acute in recent months due to the pandemic, will not disappear overnight. It is understandable that the price of the precious metal will briefly collapse because "Big Donald" is saluting himself, or the helicopter pilot who brought him safely back to the White House after his short, three-day intermezzo in the military hospital. He wants to show that he has quickly left Corona behind him. However, among his many headwinds, the President now faces the US election, the still high number of Covid-19 cases in the US, the rapidly increasing national debt, and the unchecked money printing of the central banks. At least in terms of case numbers, there is positive news from BioNTech. The Corona vaccine candidate, developed by the Mainz-based company, is entering the approval phase.

K+S, ThyssenKrupp, Newlox Gold: Hope for old friends!

  • Investments

The stock market is continually reinventing itself. Last week, no one wanted to bite the bullet, and prices trended down across the board. Even favourites from the technology corner like Tesla and Apple had to give up at short notice. On Monday, we took a deep breath after Donald Trump once again had enough oxygen. The major stock exchanges increased with a good 1-2% growth, and the Nasdaq even ticked up a bit more. Is the correction over? We don't know, but it's worth taking a look at old acquaintances we haven't had on our radar for some time.

Filled company coffers open up many opportunities to seize growth opportunities. From a timing point of view, capital increases or new investments are therefore often interesting. Which companies are now sitting on high level liquidity that can be invested profitably, or who will soon receive new funds? Here are three companies that investors should take a closer look at right now.

Barrick, Desert Gold, Gazprom: Using volatility wisely

  • Investments

The stock exchange is not a one-way street, and for this reason, there are also fluctuations in price formation. There is no such thing as a fair valuation that statically determines the value of a share. Every investor has different motives in investment decisions and about the timing of the sale. The only common denominator of investors and speculators is the goal to make money. Shares with high volatility are predestined for speculative traders, while investors usually prefer that a company's share price continuously increases in value.

Delivery Hero, PayPal, Wallstreet Online: Which stock hits the spirit of the times?

  • Investments

A recent study by the industry association Bitkom showed, even seniors are not averse to ordering online. Specifically, the survey was about food orders on the Internet. Almost a third of the seniors who otherwise order online also come for groceries. To what extent this investigation precisely reflects the truth remains open. But it shows one thing: The world has been changing even more since Corona than it was already. Some companies benefit from it. One example is the Delivery Hero. The company has specialized in selling food online and offers a delivery service. The DAX group is not at all active in Germany, but that does not matter to investors: Over the course of a year, the share went up a whopping 140%. But what about the potential?
