FOMO Rally in energy and defense! Hensoldt, Siemens Energy, First Hydrogen

  • Hydrogen
  • renewableenergies

  • Energy

Shares in the energy and defense sectors continue to be among the most rapidly rising stocks. First Hydrogen has catch-up potential. The hydrogen specialist is currently expanding its business model and plans to use nuclear power, a potential the market has yet to recognize. Siemens Energy is also profiting from the world's hunger for energy. The latest figures are convincing; the free cash flow is exploding, and even the problem child Gamesa is picking itself up. However, analysts believe the stock might face some headwinds. The Hensoldt share is also unstoppable, riding the FOMO rally in Rheinmetall & Co. The share price surge accelerated again at the start of the week. NATO countries are preparing for years of massive investments. Can this momentum continue?

Defense and critical metals – the pressure is rising! Where are Rheinmetall, Renk, Hensoldt, and XXIX Metal headed?

  • Mining

  • Defense
  • Copper

Since August 2023, the Chinese government has continuously issued export control measures for high-tech metals that are important for the semiconductor industry and green technologies. The sharp rise in energy commodities is hindering electrification projects. Copper is indispensable for these projects and will become one of the key raw materials in the coming years, around which innovations revolve. The red metal is an essential component of a completely new energy infrastructure, and trends such as Web 3.0, high-performance computing, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence are exacerbating the scarcity situation. The tech giants, worth billions, want to invest because they need the infrastructure for their business. In Europe, the defense industry is on the verge of reaching new all-time highs. A closer look is required.

Shooting star Rheinmetall continues to rise - Greentech stocks like Nel, dynaCERT, and Plug Power are in the starting gate!

  • Hydrogen
  • GreenTech
  • renewableenergies
  • Defense

With the start of the security conference, they were back – the defense stocks. Rheinmetall thus exceeded the EUR 800 mark for the first time. The DAX 40 index is also doing brilliantly, currently at 22,600, well ahead of the NASDAQ. Now, rumors of peace talks are circulating, but the stock market is still not quite believing it. The losers of recent months were, not least, due to the re-election of Donald Trump, the greentech stocks. They were simply ignored in the face of the "climate change deniers" from the White House. But the charts no longer reached new lows. This is reason enough for us to refocus on these stocks. dynaCERT made its first leaps with the VERRA certification, but there is still much more potential. Selection remains key!

Buy opportunity or bankruptcy? Shares in Plug Power, Nel, and Hensoldt are under pressure these days. The former hydrogen favorites are facing one piece of bad news after another. After mass layoffs at Nel, the next catastrophe comes from Plug Power. Investors are also getting nervous about Rheinmetall, Renk, and Hensoldt. Is a correction looming? Analysts believe the correction at Hensoldt should be seen as a buying opportunity. At BMW partner European Lithium, analysts even see potential for a multiple increase in value. The stock, which focuses on lithium and rare earths, has gained traction, and the current consolidation offers an exciting entry opportunity. Even peace in Ukraine could benefit these companies.

ACQUISITION?! Renk, BioNTech, and Biotech Highflyer Vidac Pharma

  • Biotechnology

Is Renk about to be taken over? Quite possible. The Company, known for its transmissions for the Leopard tank, has a new major shareholder. And it turns out to be none other than KNDS – the maker of the Leopard 2 tank. The Renk share price reacted with a jump of 10%. Is there more to come? Vidac Pharma is also frequently mentioned as a potential takeover candidate. Like BMW, the Company is working on a "new class". But in this case, it is to save human lives. To this end, last year's biotech highflyer aims to revolutionize cancer treatment. Experts believe that a multiplication of the share price is possible. BioNTech is also fighting cancer. In addition to its own research, the German company is strategically focusing on acquisitions. Another one has just been completed. What is next?

Mega rally at First Phosphate, Renk, VW, and BYD with buy signals

  • Electromobility

The stock markets continue to rise unabated. Those hoping for a correction will be disappointed. Yesterday, the DAX 40 index broke through the 22,000 mark, much faster than many had anticipated. Technology stocks SAP and Siemens remain the driving force, while on the NASDAQ, it is still the Magnificent 7 that is setting the tone. Selection is now key. We turn our attention to the upcoming battery materials supplier, First Phosphate, as well as stocks like Renk, VW, and BYD. While VW is in the middle of restructuring, BYD is continuing on its journey. The defense industry remains interesting, especially Renk. Where should one invest now?

Buy Puma shares now? Caution advised with Renk, Rheinmetall & Co.! Hidden Gem Nova Pacific Metals launches!

Even if it is not what Donald Trump wants to hear, the US is dependent on imports from Canada, particularly for raw materials. The tariff disputes only highlight this. Accordingly, Canadian raw materials stocks are coming to the attention of investors. One such hidden gem is Nova Pacific Metals, but this could change soon. In contrast, defense stocks could face a strong pullback as Donald Trump increases pressure. Is now the time to take profits at Renk, Rheinmetall, and Co.? Puma shareholders have been waiting for price gains for some time. Is now the time to enter the market after the recent crash?

After the outstanding stock market years of 2023 and 2024, many market participants assumed there would be a sharp correction on the stock markets at the beginning of the year. So far, however, both the DAX and the Dow Jones have proved the pessimists wrong and continued their upward trends despite increasing political and economic uncertainties. Although valuations in general, such as the Shiller P/E ratio, which is at the second-highest level in its history, already appear ambitious, there are still opportunities for disproportionate price increases in some companies.

Gold and defense stocks are currently unstoppable. The gold price is now well above the USD 2,800 mark. Just in time for the record price, insider tip First Nordic Metals is starting its drilling program in Sweden. The stock has taken off, and investors can look forward to a lively news flow. Even gold giant Barrick is sending positive signals, and the stock is picking up momentum. "Gold has truly arrived as the ultimate store of value," the Barrick CEO said in an interview with Bloomberg. Defense stocks are also completely unfazed by Donald Trump's tariff threats. While Rheinmetall is trading at an all-time high, Renk seems to be leaving the downward trend behind and finally catching up. Hensoldt's performance is clearly being surpassed. Will the momentum continue?

Deutsche Bank, Globex Mining, Rheinmetall – High-flying stocks for good reason

  • Mining

  • Defense

Amid geopolitical tensions, the looming trade war, and interest rate cuts by the ECB, there are still stocks that are not deterred by all the challenges and continue to rise. These high-flyers have either structured their business well or are taking advantage of megatrends such as commodities, which could be at the beginning of a supercycle, or the supply of defense equipment, which is in high demand given the tensions in the world. Investors who identify emerging trends early can make a lot of money, but those who enter the market later can still profit. The prerequisite for this is always a look at the fundamentals.
