At least in Europe, "normality" seems to have set in in everyday life - that is, concerning Corona. However, cautionary voices are already pointing to the winter season and the associated threat of new mutations. Nevertheless, given the Ukraine war and the major security-political tensions in the world, nothing is "normal." Investors should be vigilant in following geopolitical developments and not miss out on the opportunities that continually present themselves at the corporate level.

TeamViewer, Nel, mm2 Asia: Analysts see upside potential

The US Federal Reserve raised key interest rates by 0.5 percentage points on Wednesday to counteract rapidly rising inflation. After falling sharply in the run-up to the move, share prices worldwide subsequently rallied again. Yesterday, the DAX was back above 14,000 points. Analysts also commented positively on selected shares. For example, TeamViewer's quarterly figures were a positive surprise and analysts see significant upside potential. Goldman Sachs even sees a price potential of over 50% for Nel, and the hydrogen specialist has also landed the next order. However, more has to come. And in the case of the Asian media and technology company mm2 Asia, analysts see even more than 100% share price potential - partly due to the NFT marketplace. Elon Musk has now also discovered the hype surrounding NFTs for himself.

Deutsche Bank, mm2 Asia, Commerzbank - Uncertainty brings opportunities

  • Investments
  • entertainment

It is currently difficult for investors to operate successfully on the capital markets. Restrictions due to the Corona pandemic, which has been ongoing for 2 years, are still a burden. In addition, the extreme rise in inflation, broken supply chains and worries about several interest rate hikes are hampering rising prices. With the uncertainty of the Ukraine conflict, there is now another factor that currently does not speak much in favor of an investment in the stock markets. But in the past, precisely when uncertainty rose, this was the best time to open new positions.

Shanghai is currently experiencing the totalitarian proportions of a zero-COVID strategy. Due to soaring cases, 26 million people have to go into a harsh lockdown. After more than two years of the pandemic, the images from the Chinese metropolis seem all the more disturbing. Helplessness is spreading. People are tired of the inhumane measures. Those who test positive have to spend their quarantine in specially equipped hospitals, separated from their families and other foreign positives. The dystopian experiences of the Corona Pandemic, which everyone has personally experienced in recent months, provide an unexpectedly timely stage for arguably the most spectacular re-mastering and launch on April 21 of an Asian indie film classic in the psychological thriller genre.

Baidu, mm2 Asia, GameStop, AMC - Entertainment shares: After Corona, time to party!

  • entertainment

In 2021, no stocks were under as much pressure as the Asian tech giants. E-commerce giant Alibaba, for example, lost a full 50% year-on-year, while other stocks such as Baidu and Tencent suffered high double-digit losses in some cases. The situation has calmed down somewhat in recent weeks. The Chinese regulator is also gradually realizing that the heavy monitoring of its industry is significantly slowing down the growth prospects of its economy. The mood of the American SEC also seems to be brightening again. A delisting of Chinese stocks is probably off the table. We have selected the best stocks.

Alibaba, mm2 Asia, Tencent - Profits with entertainment shares from Asia

  • entertainment

Ever since the Internet entered our everyday lives, companies that produce content and make it available to customers have been making profits. It does not matter whether it is web content, movies, music or computer games. In recent months, companies from China have suffered from the Chinese government's regulations. But that could now come to an end. In mid-March, the Chinese government declared that it supports listings on foreign stock exchanges. Therefore, today we look at three companies that offer entertainment to their customers with their content and analyze their potential.

Now is the hour for endemic stocks: Weng Fine Art, MM2 Asia, Netflix

Especially in difficult times, entertainment is essential. In the 1980s, when two powers armed to the teeth faced off that could have wiped out the world several times over, the entertainment industry boomed. Music and films were celebrated worldwide and scored with a lightness of touch typical of the 1980s. At the same time, the art markets took off - wealthy Japanese and Americans in particular discovered modern art and drove up prices. Despite all the current problems, or precisely because of them: stimulating entertainment could also be high in demand in the 2020s. Why? We explain and introduce three exciting companies.

TUI, Lufthansa, mm2 Asia: Shares for the opening after Corona

  • Tourism
  • entertainment

Currently, the news surrounding Russia's war of aggression dominates the capital market. A second event that has a significant impact on share prices: is the COVID-19 pandemic. And even if the daily infection figures are still at record levels, Germany is on the verge of dropping measures. Other countries are even further along. Companies are likely to benefit from this. For example, the tourism group TUI and Deutsche Lufthansa. TUI sees considerable pent-up demand, and Lufthansa is benefiting from the optimism of a competitor. However, analysts are still skeptical about both. The Asian entertainment company mm2 Asia should also benefit from upcoming concerts and cinema openings. In the first half of 2021, sales have already more than doubled.

Adidas, mm2 Asia, Deutsche Post - Easing after the debacle

Russia's invasion of Ukraine caused panic on the stock exchanges, and the leading German index, the DAX, plummeted by around 3,000 points over the past 2 weeks to its all-time low. At the moment, a countermovement is underway. Various papers are already tempting investors to enter the market. Backed by strong annual figures, some stocks may have already seen their lows.

Lufthansa, mm2 Asia, BioNTech - Clear the way for the rebound

After the strong increase by the Omicron variant, the infection numbers are decreasing, and the world is breathing a sigh of relief. Due to the high vaccination rates, politicians are loosening existing restrictions. It is hard to believe, going to cinemas, restaurants and even discos is allowed again. Bookings for the travel season are increasing daily, and flying, provided you don't want to go to Kiev or Odesa at the moment, is possible at any time. Due to the almost two-year standstill, there are interesting opportunities to participate in the revived business, especially in the entertainment industry.
