Graphite problem solvers with small valuation: SGL Carbon, Mercedes-Benz, Graphano Energy
Battery-grade graphite is classified as a critical element in both the US and the EU. The reason: supply chains have been too dependent on China. Recent geopolitical shifts have caused decision-makers on both sides of the Atlantic to rethink their approach to graphite and other critical raw materials. Secure sources are now in high demand. At the same time, sustainability and environmental protection remain key requirements for projects. In this article, we explain the latest developments in the graphite market and how investors can benefit from them.

SGL Carbon, Viva Gold, Formycon - Strong news in the bear market
The stock markets are reeling, and uncertainties and tensions have increased in recent days. Thus, not only did the stock market corrected, but the DAX sank again significantly below the 13,000 mark due to the stop of gas deliveries via Nord Stream 1, and other asset classes such as precious metals, cryptocurrencies and even oil dropped significantly. Nevertheless, even in the bear market, there are companies that can shine with excellent reports and should be among the winners in a possible upward movement.

Glencore, Globex Mining, SGL Carbon - Safeguard your money!
According to the Federal Statistical Office of Germany, inflation in Germany exploded to 7.9% in May. Since the beginning of the Ukraine crisis, the horrendously growing energy prices contributed a large part to the increase. The last time there was a similarly high level was in the 1970s on the occasion of the first oil crisis. Experts do not yet believe that this will ease in the coming months. In addition to high energy prices, the supply shortage of necessary goods and raw materials will likely contribute to continued high inflation rates. Selected investments in commodities are considered suitable instruments to hedge against rising inflation.

SGL Carbon, Almonty Industries, HeidelbergCement - Prices are going through the roof
Supply chain disruptions and shortages of certain raw materials were already occurring well before Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Last year, for example, the shortage of semiconductors in the automotive industry already led to short-time working and production plant closures. Current geopolitical tensions are exacerbating inflationary developments. For the first time, the central banks are attempting to counteract this. However, a further escalation of the price spiral is anything but unlikely. The profiteers here are the commodity producers.

BASF, Meta Materials, IBU-Tec, SGL Carbon - Materials that dreams are made of!
Whether e-mobility, aircraft technology or renewable energies - there are inherent scarcities and political implications in many high-tech materials essential for the German economy and future and resource-efficient technologies. Their production and further processing cost a lot of precious energy, and not all environmental or health impacts have been clarified. Mining companies and processing industries are therefore required to observe sustainability principles and not just implement them on paper. Some companies take a proactive approach to this issue, while others must first be forced into line politically. We take a look at some of the protagonists.

SGL Carbon, Millennial Lithium, Standard Lithium, Blackrock Silver - Millions of batteries needed!
If current trends in Germany remain valid, the share of electric vehicles in new sales will shake the 25% mark in the next 5 years. In a recent forecast, the Center of Automotive Management (CAM) predicts new car sales of around 480,000 battery-electric cars and plug-in hybrids this year, representing a good 15% share of new registrations of an estimated 3.3 million passenger cars. The assumption is that battery and plug-in hybrid vehicles will each account for around 50%. By 2025, according to the forecast, the e-vehicle share will rise to 27% of new sales, of which about 65% are expected to be pure electric vehicles. The scenario for the battery industry is thus set.

Aspermont, Commerzbank, SGL Carbon - Potential after renewal
Sometimes it is a gradual process, but sometimes it is a sudden event like the Corona pandemic. A company gets into trouble and the management has to develop strategies that will nevertheless lead the business into the future. But increasing efficiency and making quick decisions alone will not help. Ideally, business models should be checked for resilience early enough and not just when the tree is on fire. A realignment also always offers an opportunity. Today, we have taken a look at three stocks that are still in a state of upheaval but offer definite potential for your portfolio.
