BYD, Tembo Gold, Deutsche Bank - Tesla has the competition breathing down its neck
The sales figures for the electric car manufacturers for the full year 2021 are out. Tesla remains the global leader, but its market share is shrinking. In China, BYD retains its place in the sun and plans to continue growing strongly next year. While everyone is talking about electromobility due to climate targets, the precious metal gold is currently living a shadowy existence. However, due to the current figures with rising inflation and growing debts of the states and companies, this should change soon.

Avoiding penalties with Bayer, MAS Gold and BASF
According to the "Allianz Global Wealth Report", global financial assets have grown strongly. Private households alone had gross financial assets of over EUR 200 trillion worldwide in the past year, representing an increase of almost 10% compared to the previous year. The reason for the high savings rate was mainly the uncertainty surrounding the Corona pandemic. Now, with punitive interest rates and rising inflation, there are renewed threats to citizens' assets. One way out would be to invest in precious metals and build up long-term equity positions, primarily in the value sector.

Nel ASA, dynaCERT, Plug Power - The resurrection of hydrogen stocks
The past year 2021, was anything but a successful one for stocks from the hydrogen and fuel cell sector. After a brilliant boom in the decade's first year, the signs pointed to correction. However, given the energy transition and the importance of hydrogen fuel cell technology, this sector, in particular, could experience a resurgence in the new year. The German Federal Ministry of Economics, led by Green Party politician Robert Habeck, released EUR 900 million for the "H2Global" funding instrument.

BYD, Diamcor, LVMH - Impressive growth
Despite the Corona pandemic, travel bans and closed stores due to several lockdowns, demand for luxury goods continues unabated. Now add rising inflation to the mix. Tangible assets such as shares, precious metals and jewelry are the best protection against currency devaluation. The purchase of diamonds is growing in popularity. The choice of listed companies on the stock exchange is small.

S+T, Barsele Minerals, Barrick Gold - The disappointment of the year
While the stock markets were booming, commodities such as copper or even wood ran to new highs, thus boosting inflation. However, the precious metals silver and gold recorded double-digit price losses. Due to the perfect framework conditions with historically low interest rates, rising inflation and immensely growing national debts, not only gold disciples expected new highs and prices far above USD 2,000 per ounce. The disappointment of the year! For 2022, several interest rate hikes are now being considered by the US Federal Reserve. Poison for the glittering metals. But the past teaches us that sometimes things turn out differently than planned.

BASF, Meta Materials, Siemens Gamesa - Significant acceleration
The stock market year 2021, an extremely successful one, is almost history. As expected, due to the Corona pandemic, vaccine manufacturers such as BioNTech, Moderna and Valneva are among the new stock market stars. In the technology sector, chip manufacturers such as Nvidia and AMD performed particularly well, boosted by the shortage of semiconductors. Which themes will dominate the coming stock market year? In addition to cloud computing and artificial intelligence, companies focusing on new materials essential for the future are likely to benefit.

Steinhoff, Troilus Gold, Agnico Eagle - The final sprint is underway
The DAX, which was almost unstoppable before the Christmas holidays, is making a final sprint in the last days of the old stock market year. Investors' hopes for milder developments in the highly contagious omicron variant are pushing the stock market barometer close to the psychologically important mark of 16,000 points. What will happen next year? Many market participants already see a stronger correction ahead, and others assume new highs due to the continued cheap money. Opinions are also divided on precious metals.

Upcoming hydrogen and cannabis boom - Nel ASA, Ayurcann, Canopy Growth
These two completely different sectors have one thing in common. After both cannabis stocks and hydrogen sector companies multiplied in the past, a significant correction set in during the stock market year soon ending. This correction is likely to continue into the new year 2022. In the long term, however, there are outstanding opportunities both for cannabis, through legalization in various European countries, and for hydrogen, urgently needed for the energy transition. It is time to position yourself.

Daimler, Noram Lithium, Nikola - This is the breakthrough
The global race to achieve set climate targets is on in (almost) all countries. The transport sector poses a particular challenge. Despite the development of more efficient vehicles, CO2 emissions have risen over the past twenty years. The switch from cars with combustion engines to alternative energy sources must be further accelerated. While battery-powered vehicles are ahead in the passenger car sector, fuel cells are more appealing for heavier vehicles.
