Born in Mönchengladbach, he studied business administration in the Netherlands. In the course of his studies he came into contact with the stock exchange for the first time. He has more than 25 years of experience in stock market business.

After graduating, he worked as an IT consultant for a listed company before becoming self-employed, during which time he worked for various DAX-listed companies and a large Swiss insurance company, among others.
Since 2009, he has been exclusively involved in the capital markets, where he was able to gain experience as a day and swing trader, in investor relations and at board level. He was able to live out his passion for numbers in the controlling department of a securities trading house.

For him, fundamental analysis paired with the correct reading of the price action of a market provides the basis for successful trading.

Alibaba, Kainantu Resources, MorphoSys - The turnaround beckons here

  • Gold

A stock that has fallen sharply can offer the chance to make significant gains relatively quickly. Kostolany once said, "What seems cheap can become much cheaper". In other words, one should be wary of reaching for the falling knife. The shares that you have on your watch list as turnaround candidates should be monitored as closely as possible in order to strike at the right moment. The first thing to do after a stock crash is to wait for it to bottom out. To do this, one observes the Company's earnings position. In addition, the Company's story should fit, and entry should be sought using chart technology. Then nothing stands in the way of more considerable price gains. Today, we look at three companies that could be on the verge of a turnaround.

GSP Resource, Varta, Rio Tinto - The post-fossil age has begun

  • Copper

The phase-out of fossil fuels is already underway. If we want to do something for the climate, this step is unavoidable. The phase-out is to be offset either by nuclear power or renewable energies. In Germany, we are saying goodbye to both nuclear power and fossil fuels. At the same time, the introduction of renewable energies means that more metals are now needed. Whether silver, rare earths, nickel, cobalt or copper - these metals are necessary for technological progress. Copper, in particular, is essential for electrification, and demand is rising steadily. That is due to the growing sales of electric cars, for which more copper is needed than for combustion engines. Today we look at three companies that have a lot to do with copper.

Infineon, BrainChip, Nvidia - The chip shortage remains

  • Technology

The automotive industry was one of the first to feel the chip shortage. While supply chains typically operate on a just-in-time basis, they had ordered fewer chips due to the Corona Crisis. Then, when it was already too late, they realized that the economy was going unexpectedly well and the chips were running out. However, due to the pandemic, there were restrictions worldwide, so it was impossible to produce and deliver as usual. In addition, the Suez Canal was blocked, and, most recently, a port in China was also completely closed. The supply chains are still disrupted. At the same time, progress goes on and on. Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, autonomous driving, electrification and co. all require chips. Factories are running at full capacity, and yet demand cannot currently be met. Today we analyze three companies from the chip industry.

First Majestic Silver, Silver Viper, Millennial Lithium - Rally Ahead?

  • Silver

A rally in silver was already predicted at the end of last year. The reason was the corona-related 5.9% drop in production. It is the most significant decline in over 10 years, and thus there was a shortfall in supply. In addition, there is strong physical demand, which you can see well on Reddit if you search for "Silverbugs". There, people proudly present their hoarded silver stocks. Since the panic selling at the beginning of August, the price has already risen by 11%. High inflation could give the silver price a further boost. For lithium, on the other hand, the rally is already in full swing. The lithium carbonate price has more than doubled since the beginning of the year. We analyze three companies from these sectors today.

JinkoSolar, Defense Metals, Daimler - Sustainability only with rare earths

  • RareEarths

Rare earths are found in almost all new technologies such as smartphones, e-cars, etc. The leading supplier is China. Rare earths occur more often than one might think, but mining them is rarely economically profitable. Thus, China has a kind of monopoly position. With the trade dispute between the US and China brewing, more people realize that Western countries should seek alternative access to rare earths. If China limits exports, it would quickly lead to shortages. Accumulators or batteries would soon become scarce. Due to sustainability issues, the increased demand can already be seen in the increased prices for rare earths.

Bayer, Saturn Oil + Gas, TUI - Which share will be the first to take off?

  • Oil

We have often heard that the profit is in the purchase; however, it is difficult to predict the low of a share and then enter at that low. Often it is better to wait for a reversal using charting techniques, which increases the probability of finding a profitable trade. Those who buy falling knives have certainly suffered losses more often. But there are always stocks that are not "in" with investors, so it takes longer to get the share price going. Especially companies that have had problems in the past must first regain the trust of their shareholders. Today we analyze the prospects of three companies that have had problems in the past and want to take off.

Central African Gold, Nordex, NIO - The potential of sustainability

  • Sustainability

The topic of sustainability is increasingly on people's minds. Five years ago, the subject was not even interesting to most. Now, more than 80% of people are thinking about it. Companies' customers spend more money if a product is sustainable; it is a sign of quality and gives them a positive image. If you use sustainable electricity and use resources sparingly, you can also save costs. All these are reasons why renewable energies and e-mobility are currently becoming more and more important.

Paion, Diamcor, DeFi Technologies - This is where the music plays

  • Diamonds

After the Fed announcements, the DAX and Dow moved sideways, despite a rise at the beginning of last week. Many stocks in these indices are now also considered fundamentally expensive if one follows the standard work of fundamental analysis by the Graham and Dodd Model, which roughly speaking sees a fair value for stocks with a price-earnings ratio of a maximum of 15. If you want to bring performance into your portfolio, you need stocks that are not in the direct focus of analysts. If there is an interesting story behind it, you can get a booster in your portfolio at an early stage. Today, we highlight three shares with interesting news and stories.

Deutsche Rohstoff, K+S, Royal Dutch Shell - Where to invest as fund managers cut equity exposure?

  • Oil

A look at the Global Fund Manager Survey conducted by Bank of America shows the views of Fund managers have changed significantly in the past month. Only 27% now expect the global economy to be strong, compared with almost twice as much optimism the previous month. One reason is the expectation that the FED will noticeably turn off its monetary tap at the end of the year. The money glut has sparked inflation, which can be seen clearly in commodity prices. All these are reasons why the cash quota in the funds is being increased, and the equity quota decreased. The high commodity prices are benefiting commodity producers in particular, which is why we are looking at three companies from this sector today.
