Born in Munich, he first studied economics and graduated in business administration at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in 1995. As he was involved with the stock market at a very early stage, he now has more than 30 years of experience in the capital markets. In the historic dot.com year 2000, he trained as a CEFA analyst in Frankfurt and has since then accompanied over 20 IPOs in Germany.

Until 2018, he held various positions at banks as an asset manager, capital market and macro expert as well as fundamental equity analyst. He is passionate about the energy, commodity and technology markets as well as the tactical and strategic asset allocation of liquid investment products. As an expert speaker at investment committee meetings of funds as well as at customer events, he can still describe the course of the 1987 crash, one of the major buying opportunities of the last 33 years on the stock market.

Today, he knows that the profit in shares is not necessarily the result of buying cheaply, but above all of avoiding mistakes and recognizing in good time when markets are ready to let air out. After all, in addition to basic fundamental analysis, investing in stocks is above all a phenomenon of global liquidity and this must be monitored regularly.

Germany is turning into a desert: Desert Gold, BASF, K+S - Opportunities in the agricultural and gold sector

Germany is experiencing the best summer in decades, causing many to cheer, whilst farmers are becoming increasingly desperate. Not that we wish for bad weather, no - it is simply a matter of balancing the climate because a certain amount of precipitation at the right time is vital for our soils. However, the number of rainy days this summer could be counted on one hand, and some areas did not receive any precious water at all. Farmers will therefore harvest an average of 30% less, with some fruits threatening total failure. The problem has less to do with climate change and more with desertification, which has been caused by human intervention for centuries.

Finding the best GreenTech stocks: BYD, Defense Metals, JinkoSolar and Nordex in focus

  • Mining
  • RareEarths
  • Electromobility
  • GreenTech

Since Joe Biden's Climate Bill, GreenTech stocks have been on everyone's lips. That is because, in addition to the EU, the US now also wants to step on the gas pedal significantly. It is all about investing in the future of climate protection. This primarily involves technologies for alternative energy generation, such as solar or wind power plants. Equally in focus, however, are the drive technologies for the many vehicles on our roads. The pivotal point is strategically important metals; they are rare and highly sought after. International dependence on China makes many projects a tough balancing act. But some companies are well positioned. Have they already gone too far?

Sellout completely exaggerated! Lufthansa, TUI, MAS Gold - Shares, 100 times cheaper than Plug Power!

Rising commodity prices have recently pushed inflation in Europe above 8% and caused equities worldwide to fall into sellout mode. With ongoing geo-conflicts, economic forecasts for global growth are now becoming even gloomier. The travel market is suffering from high prices and ongoing staffing shortages. A war-torn environment is also not really an appetizer for exciting long-haul travel. Hopes are therefore pinned on a near end to the war in Ukraine and subsequent normalization of our daily lives. Which stocks could then benefit very quickly?

Stock roulette! Sell-off at Uniper and Deutsche Bank, Kleos Space sets a good mood!

Again a weak start to the week. After a tentative recovery in the first half of August, it is now back to business. With 13,930 on the DAX, the bear market rally seems to have been completed. Today, a low of 13,250 is already on the board again. The stock market now has war, even higher inflation and a coming recession to price in, so the relatively high level is already surprising. However, there is still hope, and some selected share titles have already fallen far. The time of the bargain hunters is thus perhaps also no longer far away. We provide a few ideas.

Joe Biden boosts hydrogen stocks: Nel ASA, Plug Power, dynaCERT in rally mode

Hydrogen technology is now gaining momentum to energize our climate change efforts. Joe Biden has had to negotiate long and hard, but now his USD 430 billion Climate & Health Bill is in the history books. With the President's signature, the legislative package is now officially in effect as of last week. GreenTech is on everyone's lips because, not least since the Ukraine crisis, the world knows about the dangerous dependence on fossil fuels. It is just a shame that every Republican voted against these resolutions in the US Senate vote. Some shares reacted with leaps of joy.

Watch out! BASF, Varta, Barsele Minerals and Nordex - These shares are mastering the energy crisis

Renewable energies are one of the most important factors when it comes to a green lifestyle. After all, modern man wants to remain mobile, even if fossil resources no longer harmonize with the concepts of the future. For years, there were extensive studies that primary energy sources such as oil and gas, which have been locked up for millions of years, should not be released into the atmosphere. The scientists were not heard for a long time, and now after substantial climatic changes, attempts are being made to turn the tide using all means at their disposal. Too late? Perhaps, but many companies are positioning themselves correctly now. We keep an eye on these values.

Hydrogen presses the gas pedal: Plug Power, First Hydrogen, Nel, Ballard Power - 100% rally is real!

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz will sign an agreement to jointly support the production of hydrogen fuel in Canada for export to Germany, the German government announced Friday. The head of government, accompanied by Economics Minister Robert Habeck, will travel to Canada on August 21-23 to establish this important agreement on climate protection. The processes are still costly and only conditionally competitive, but if fossil fuels remain permanently expensive, it will be exciting. Who is ahead in H2 shares?

According to a study by the International Copper Study Group (ICSG) from 2020, Chile, Peru, China and the US were the largest copper producers in the world. Other significant deposits can be found in Australia, Indonesia, Russia, Canada, Zambia, Poland, Kazakhstan and Mexico. In Europe, the largest copper deposits are concentrated in Russia and Poland. When it comes to calculating the copper market in the next few years, expert opinions differ widely. According to a study by Wood Mackenzie, primary copper demand will increase by over 30% to around 25 million tons by 2030. And ore is already in more than short supply today. Where are the opportunities for investors?

With a view to the future energy supply, major question marks remain, especially in Europe. The dependency on Russia is historical, and the future relationship with the largest owner of raw materials in our latitudes will probably be rather frosty from a European perspective. EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen recently presented a plan to break away from fossil fuels from Russia and, at the same time, accelerate the energy transition. But to become completely self-sufficient, the European Union would need to invest nearly EUR 300 billion in infrastructure and energy supply relationships by 2030. Meanwhile, there are secret winners in this predicament who are making a killing in the current environment.

Now the tide has turned again. The crash hysteria has disappeared, and bond prices are gradually recovering. The yield for 10-year German government bonds fell in the last 6 weeks completely surprisingly from the high at 1.75% to under 0.90% - that does not look like a boom. The specter of inflation is also slowly losing its scare, with oil prices now consolidating by more than USD 25 from their recent highs. The pressure on central banks to raise interest rates is thus easing considerably, giving equities the necessary room for positive momentum again. We take a look at promising stocks.
