Defense fantasy and takeover buzz! Daimler Truck, thyssenkrupp, Pasinex Resources!
Defense, takeovers, and raw materials moved the stock market last week. After a period of weakness until April, the price of zinc has risen significantly again, benefiting Pasinex Resources. The Company focuses on high-grade zinc deposits in Turkey and the US, and it has now acquired 100% of a key project. Revenue and earnings are set to increase from 2026 onwards, with net margins of up to 50% on the horizon. This makes the stock appear undervalued. Will defense fantasies boost Daimler Truck's stock? The stock has been one of the underperformers in the DAX so far. In the future, the Company plans to collaborate more closely with a US defense contractor. Meanwhile, thyssenkrupp's stock is at a multi-year high. But is the Company effectively winding itself down? The latest takeover bid points in that direction.

The end of combustion engines? Why Volkswagen, dynaCERT, and Daimler Truck are still cashing in on cleantech
The mobility industry is undergoing a significant upheaval. Stricter CO2 limits are forcing automotive giants and, above all, the transportation industry to undergo a radical transformation. Transportation accounts for approximately 25% of the world's total emissions. The EU is pushing ahead with strict decarbonization targets. By 2030, new vehicles and trucks will have to emit 55% less CO2. Companies are running out of time. Innovations must pay off, or they are out of the game. Volkswagen is revolutionizing fleet emissions by pushing ahead with electromobility, dynaCERT is optimizing existing diesel engines, and Daimler Truck is driving sustainable logistics forward with electric and hydrogen powertrains.

Plug Power, dynaCERT, Daimler Truck – Now is the hour of blue hydrogen
"Drill Baby Drill," said Donald Trump in his inauguration speech. The US wants to produce more oil and natural gas domestically, but while oil is still in demand, the US already has enough natural gas today to export. What should be done with the gas when the storage facilities are full? One option is to use the surplus gas to produce blue hydrogen. The national energy emergency declaration will reduce regulatory hurdles, paving the way for projects like blue hydrogen production. As a result, the price of blue hydrogen will decrease. This is reason enough to look at three companies banking on hydrogen within their business model.

Daimler Truck, dynaCERT, Bayer AG: Contrasts in Q3: Established companies under pressure, newcomers with breakthroughs
Established DAX corporations such as Bayer AG and Daimler Truck, a Mercedes-Benz Group company, are facing a headwind in the third quarter of 2024. However, the Canadian cleantech specialist dynaCERT is on the verge of its commercial breakthrough. The Leverkusen-based Bayer Group has to revise its forecast downwards. The agriculture business, in particular, is a cause for concern, while the pharmaceuticals division is scoring points with new drugs. At Daimler Truck, strong business in North America is stabilizing the balance sheet, while business in Europe is under pressure. dynaCERT, on the other hand, has received the valuable Verra certification for its hydrogen technology for diesel optimization after twenty years of development work. Investors finally have a viable hydrogen use case for logistics.

Daimler Truck, First Hydrogen, Nikola - Green logistics companies in focus
With the aim of promoting greener technologies and meeting legal requirements, logistics companies are faced with the choice between electric and hydrogen drives for the future. Many countries have introduced strict emissions regulations to reduce CO2 emissions and minimize the use of fossil fuels. While electric drives impress with their high energy efficiency and low operating costs, hydrogen drives score points with their fast refueling and long range. We have picked out three companies, some of which are pursuing different approaches, and take a look at their current situation.

BYD, First Hydrogen, Daimler Truck - Shares for the transportation of tomorrow
The transportation industry is on the verge of a radical change. According to a study by Bain & Company, every second vehicle will no longer require diesel as early as 2025. But while it is a done deal that the future of passenger cars belongs to the e-car sector, the outcome in the transport industry is still open. Yet freight transport is responsible for a large proportion of emissions. The problem is the heavy batteries, which still cause performance losses and longer charging times. Hydrogen can score points, especially in terms of charging times, and offers high fuel cell efficiency. Today, we take a look at three stocks for tomorrow's transportation.
