Nel successful in Australia, Rheinmetall recommended by Goldman and Barsele Minerals for the gold comeback

  • Gold
  • Hydrogen
  • Defense

Interest rate fears, a looming recession and war in Ukraine - There are numerous reasons for nervousness on the stock market. But especially in uncertain times, the chances of long-term price gains are high. But where is the safe haven at the moment? Gold, renewable energies or even armaments? Gold is undoubtedly one of the disappointments of the year. The strong US dollar is weighing on the sector. But gold stocks are cheap. Alongside heavyweights, there are also explorers such as Barsele Minerals, and the Canadians bring takeover fantasy. Golden times are predicted for companies in the renewable energy sector. Hydrogen specialist Nel shines with an order from Australia. And defense companies like Rheinmetall are facing a super cycle. At the same time, the MDAX group is also getting involved in fuel cells, and Goldman Sachs advises buying.

Renewable energies on the verge of a comeback - JinkoSolar, dynaCERT, Nel ASA

  • Hydrogen

Despite the statement of the politicians to build renewable energies even faster and on an even larger scale in the future, the corresponding market leaders correct strongly and reduce the admittedly exaggerated valuations of 2020 and 2021. After losses of sometimes more than 50%, hydrogen wind or photovoltaic stocks are becoming interesting again, at least selectively, to be able to outperform one' s portfolio in the coming years.

BYD, First Hydrogen, Amazon - Electric vehicles on the brink of extinction?

  • Hydrogen
  • fuelcell
  • Electromobility

Alongside industry leader Tesla, Chinese carmakers, in particular, have been early adopters of e-cars. Since the end of the internal combustion engine was decided, there has been a battle for the one emission-free drive. For a long time, electromobility seemed to be winning the race, but charging times are still too long and ranges are limited. These are important factors, especially in the logistics sector. Now the first series production of hydrogen cars is starting in China. Changan Automobile, founded in 1862, claims a range of 700km for its hydrogen cars with a refueling time of a few seconds. Is this the beginning of the end for electric vehicles?

Plug Power, dynaCERT, Daimler Truck - Hydrogen market gets hot again

  • greenhydrogen

A glance at the federal report on energy research 2022 is enough to tell you that the federal government is funding research and development into hydrogen. The term hydrogen appears 116 times in the document, far ahead of wind power or solar energy. RWE has recently announced that it is investing a lot of money into hydrogen production. Siemens Energy wants to produce electrolyzers together with Air Liquide. The French are also working with ThyssenKrupp to develop hydrogen-based steel production. The EU is promoting the hydrogen sector, so it is no wonder that more and more collaborations are being formed between corporations. Today we look at three companies active in the hydrogen sector.

Plug Power, First Hydrogen, ThyssenKrupp, Nel ASA - Climate rescue stocks in focus!

Whoever thinks about transportation in the future should have e-mobility and, secondly, hydrogen in mind. At the last EU summit in June, the phasing out of combustion engines by 2035 was anchored, with the exception of so-called e-fuels. Various processes are being discussed in producing e-fuels that lead to a synthetic fuel. It does not burn completely free of pollutants, but at least it is produced 100% climate-neutral. In the case of so-called green hydrogen, the industry is now moving forward step by step. The processes are still costly and only competitive to a limited extent if the current fossil fuel prices are considered. Things are now getting exciting with the following shares.

Buy or sell? Nel, Zalando, Aspermont under analyst review

  • Commodities
  • Investments
  • Hydrogen
  • Mining

After the heavy losses of the past months, a countermovement seems to be starting at the moment. Whether this will turn into a real summer rally remains to be seen. Buy or sell is the question. Analysts see a price potential of over 50% for Nel ASA. Even though competition from China and India is increasing. Aspermont also appears attractive at the current price level. The latest quarterly figures were positive, and the positioning of the small-cap in the booming commodities sector is promising. At Zalando, analysts react to the profit warning, and the price targets are significantly reduced. Nevertheless, some advise buying the online fashion retailer, but not everyone.

First Hydrogen, Daimler Truck, Mercedes-Benz - Will the EU Parliament's exit from combustion engines provide the next boost?

  • Hydrogen
  • Electromobility

A few days ago, the EU Parliament decided to phase out combustion engines in cars and small commercial vehicles by 2035. The approval of the individual member states is still required to adopt the new directive. Although there are currently still disagreements within the German government as to whether Germany should agree to the ban, the directive can be passed with binding effect by a qualified majority even if Germany abstains. What impact would such a ban have?

Hydrogen once again: Nel, Plug Power, dynaCERT - Shares for the next climate rally

For the GreenTech movement, the current malaise could not be more appropriate. All governments worldwide have felt the dangerous dependence on fossil fuels in their budgets. The approach of winter in the northern hemisphere has power plant planners trembling. Hydrogen, at least as an energy supplier in terms of locomotion, is a tried and tested means of supporting the unbinding of oil & gas over the medium term. However, investments in new H2 technologies are still too low to speak of an alternative to conventional drive systems. We take a look at the protagonists of hydrogen technologies.

Golden times for Nel and Varta? Tension is rising at First Hydrogen

  • GreenTech
  • Hydrogen

The prices for oil, gas & Co. remain at a high level this week, not least because Russia has reduced gas supplies to Europe. In Germany, Economics Minister Robert Habeck is working at full speed on emergency plans for the winter and is calling for energy savings. In the long term, there will be no way around renewable energies. Analysts expect golden times for companies like Nel ASA and Varta. But smaller innovative companies like hydrogen pure-play First Hydrogen are also interesting. That is because analysts expect demand for hydrogen to outstrip supply massively. In the battery sector, Goldman Sachs recommends buying the Varta share. The MDAX group's sales are expected to more than double in the coming years, thanks to electromobility. The annual general meeting was held yesterday.

Fuel cells have many areas of application. In heavy-duty transport, intralogistics or stationary power plants, the technology can play out its advantages in a superior way. According to expert estimates, the number of fuel cells will increase sharply in the coming years. It is important to obtain the hydrogen from renewable energies - green hydrogen. Electric drives and batteries will play an important role during the mobility turnaround. Relatively unknown raw materials are also becoming increasingly important.
