Where you can still place your trust: Deutsche Bank, Desert Gold, Newmont
Thorough research, thoughtful consideration, a sense of timing and trust are all necessary ingredients for sound investments. But time and again, companies disappoint their shareholders. Rarely does it get as bad as it did with Wirecard. Often there is a communication crisis, and announcements are just not kept. We present three stocks and analyze: Where can investors put their trust?

Twitter, Alibaba, Triumph Gold - Inflation protection: Golden times for good stocks!
Inflation is galloping, with so-called "steepening" occurring in the bond markets. A steepening yield curve is historically often accompanied by a peak in the stock market in the following 9-15 months after the yield curve reaches a cyclical minimum. The last interest rate low was reached in August 2019 at minus 0.50% in the ten-year range, and it even managed to stay there until October 2020. The DAX reached its all-time high in November 2021 at over 16,300 points, 13 months after the previous interest rate low, then followed a 25% downward correction to 12,400 points. If inflation and the rise in interest rates do not moderate, things look bleak for the stock markets. Selection, therefore, remains key!

Where the music is playing now: BioNTech, MAS Gold, Bayer
Capitalism is the best system when it comes to distributing goods effectively. Supply and demand first make scarce goods expensive and then turn them into a promising business area. That is what happened with vaccines. Today, the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers & Associations (IFPMA) is warning of an oversupply of Corona vaccines - two years ago, things looked very different. While biotech stocks such as BioNTech are being penalized, it is important to identify tomorrow's opportunities. Scarcity plays an important role here.

The million-dollar opportunity: Valneva, Edgemont Gold, BASF
No one can see into the future. But investors can estimate which topics will move share prices in the near future. There is not always a connection between what is important and what is played out in the media. Issues such as climate change are timeless but disappear from the front pages from time to time. It is currently a similar situation with the pandemic. We dare to take a look into the future and ask what could move prices this summer.

Barrick Gold, Barsele Minerals, BASF - Investing in scarcity: 3 B-shares with potential
The risks on the capital markets are increasing, as can be seen in the volatility indices. They were around 18 before the invasion of Ukraine and rose to over 35 by mid-March. The volatility index measures the range of fluctuation expected by the futures markets in the coming months. If we follow this indication, we could still be in for a tough summer. Possibly significantly lower again but, with the desired political easing, also a little upward similarly. However, investors need to be aware of the exploding inflation, the tight commodity markets and the supply chain problem. These are ongoing issues that will not pass anytime soon. The following values could provide some stability.

BioNTech, Desert Gold Ventures, BYD - Decisive steps
There is currently great uncertainty on the capital markets. While the Ukraine war and the fear of interest rate hikes due to the enormous increase in inflation are weighing on the minds of investors in Europe, investors in Asia are pulling back due to the tightened Corona measures in China. The zero-covid policy could result in widespread mass shutdowns, negatively impacting industrial production and domestic consumption. Electric car maker NIO, for example, has already halted production.

K+S, Edgemont Gold, NIO - Shares as protection against demonetization
Inflation rates have been rising steadily since the end of 2020. What was initially declared by central bankers as a temporary event is becoming a permanent problem for society and the economy. The loose monetary policy, the shortage of raw materials, and the blown-up supply chains were responsible for the fact that the inflation rate in the USA was 7.9% in March, the highest since 1982. As a result of the sanctions imposed on Russia, the supply of raw materials and oil and gas is becoming even tighter, causing prices to shoot up once again. Investors can protect themselves by investing in producers of scarce commodities. In addition, for diversification, gold should not be missing in any portfolio as protection against currency devaluation.

Barrick Gold, Ximen Mining, First Majestic Silver - Do precious metal stocks belong in the portfolio now?
Crises like the current Ukraine war or the steadily rising inflation are good for precious metals like gold and silver. According to the German Association for Precious Metals, demand for physical precious metals increased by at least 25% in the first three months of this year. Demand had already climbed by 31% last year. But not everyone can store precious metals safely. The alternative is to invest in precious metals companies listed on the stock exchange. We take a closer look at three candidates today.

BioNTech, Triumph Gold, Rheinmetall - Uncertainties everywhere
The ongoing fighting in Ukraine and concerns about an escalation of the situation are worrying capital markets worldwide. Nevertheless, the leading stock market barometers were able to distance themselves significantly from their lows. Now, the next blow has followed with the publication of the FED's meeting minutes. The US Federal Reserve wants to accelerate the reduction of its balance sheet total and let bonds worth up to USD 95 billion expire without buying again. In doing so, the monetary authorities are hitting technology stocks in particular, which have already been in a sharp correction since the beginning of the year. Gold, on the other hand, is barely reacting despite the expected interest rate hikes, a strong sign for the precious metal.

Newmont, MAS Gold, Barrick Gold - This will be the hard currency
Precious metals lived up to their name as a crisis currency when the Russian army invaded Ukraine at the end of February. Gold rose by almost 10% in the first rush and marked a new high at USD 2,070.18 per ounce. Only USD 4 was missing to climb to a new all-time high in the current world reserve currency, the US dollar. Since then, the yellow metal has been correcting, but new highs should only be a matter of time in the long term. The importance of gold can currently be seen due to geopolitical tensions. The chairman of the Russian Energy Commission, Pavel Zavalny, proposed to pay for Russian oil and gas in "hard currency", i.e. in gold.
