PayPal, Aspermont, ProSiebenSat.1: Digital media drives growth

  • Investments

Digital business models have numerous advantages. Processes can be optimized better and the business can be scaled more easily. While analog business models quickly require more employees and ultimately become complicated, such problems hardly ever arise with digital business models. Whether PayPal makes 100,000 payments an hour or 150,000 is almost irrelevant. If capacities reach their limits, they simply buy more - here, too, digital is simply better. We present companies that have either turned existing industries upside down or are really taking off thanks to digital business models.

Visa, Upco International, PayPal - A Milestone!

  • crypto

For a long time, cryptocurrencies could only be thought of as objects of speculation. As a store of value or even a means of payment, Bitcoin, Etherum and Co. were rejected. A currency should be as stable as possible. But now, the very big payment providers are daring to take the step of offering the largest cryptos as a means of payment. The question is whether this is not a clever marketing move. Soon, we will be interested to see whether payment by virtual currencies will become established in society. It would be another breakthrough in the young history of cryptocurrencies.

Kleos Space, PayPal, Airbus - Watch out: Performance rockets at the start!

  • Space

You have to hand it to Elon Musk: Little of what he has tried has flopped in the end. He seems to have an excellent feel for feasible concepts. He was involved early on in PayPal, which came out of nowhere to become the world's most important payment service provider. Although not founded by him but protected very early on, Tesla developed under his aegis over the last 16 years from a startup to the world's most valuable car manufacturer. And Kleos Space? While not a company founded by Elon Musk either, it does have a business relationship with SpaceX, which depicts another field of activity for the go-getting and visionary "technoking." And as an established industry veteran, Airbus shares should not go unmentioned either. Who has the greatest potential?

PayPal, Upco International, Square - Digital Payments: Continuing disruptive potential!

  • Online

Mobile payments include all forms of cashless payment using mobile devices when shopping online or at traditional sales outlets. Digital payments subsume all transactions that are processed via the Internet and are directly related to online purchases. Various payment methods can be used, such as credit cards or online payment service providers like PayPal. According to Statista, the global volume of digital payments will amount to almost EUR 6,000 billion (!) in 2021, increasing a good 20% over the previous year. Mobile payments, in particular, still have huge potential. Worldwide, less than 1/5 of all users use cell phones for payments. Do you want to bet on the continuing high disruptive growth potential of the industry?

PayPal, Marble Financial, Ferratum: Fintech picks up speed

  • Fintech

The world is becoming increasingly digital - only retirement planning and even banking are still partly stuck in the 1980s. We see this whenever we conduct banking transactions that are not commonplace. Examples include cashing checks or transferring money abroad. But there is a remedy: In recent years, more and more companies have taken analog areas related to finance and made them digital and better from the customer's perspective. This also opens up opportunities for investors.

Marble Financial, PayPal, Palantir: Fintech, Payment and Data, powerful trio!

  • Payment

Modern companies in the environment of data analysis and consumption benefit from the big online trend. In between are the payment service providers, who are developing entrances into the crypto world and are dynamically involved in both corners. Through their payment data, they know the most popular shopping addresses of their customers, which are cash for advertisers and social media platforms. Users often talk very openly about their preferences and even give free tips to other shoppers. In this way, a network of habits, trends and accurate advertising opportunities is created.

Telekom Austria, Upco International, PayPal: Pioneering spirit pays off in the long term

  • Telecommunications

Industries are changing, and this change can be extremely lucrative for investors. Just think of the boring automotive sector and the success of Tesla and Co. Digital payment service providers, such as PayPal, are also much better off today than traditional banks. One industry that could benefit from a similar transformation by new players is telecommunications. Many small service providers or telephone companies have a scale problem despite ever-increasing networking—the reason: the classic business with telephony or SMS is eroding and shifting to the network. However, to be a full-fledged provider, telephone companies must continue to offer traditional solutions. That creates problems - even for the big players in the industry.

Bitcoin, BIGG Digital Assets, PayPal: What is the best crypto investment?

  • Blockchain

Once the genie is out the bottle, you can't get it back in. It's the same or similar with digitalization. The advantages are so overwhelming that only a few people want to do without it - even if there are disadvantages. When it comes to the electronic transfer of capital, supervisory authorities and public prosecutors point out the dangers of money laundering. Cryptocurrencies are unfortunately the preferred field of activity of criminals. Nevertheless, the price of Bitcoin is currently going through the roof again. The best-known of all cryptocurrencies developed rapidly after the start of the second Corona wave - within a month alone, the replacement currency to the Euro rose by around 25%.

Wirecard, Paypal, BIGG Digital Assets: Crypto - soon normal means of payment?

  • Blockchain

The crypto world is constantly developing, and the user numbers are increasing considerably. The more the discussion about the abolition of cash takes shape, the more people are interested in a liquid alternative means of payment. Even if system critics hold on to gold, once certain acceptance hurdles have been overcome, cryptocurrencies must be said to have grown rapidly. In 2016 there were less than 10 million registered wallets with cryptocurrencies, since the end of 2019 this number exploded to over 40 million, an increase of 300% in three years. Compared to other key figures, especially concerning the Bitcoin exchange rate, this number seems low, but there is an anticipation of further growth.
