Encavis, Globex Mining, Freeport-McMoRan - Like in a fairy tale

Germany still has 22 years to achieve its goal of climate neutrality. By then, electricity will be generated purely from the sun and wind, and buildings will be so perfectly insulated that they will no longer need to be heated. Cars will only be fueled by electricity or green hydrogen. On paper, the energy mix transformation reads simple, but the implementation seems almost impossible, given current developments. Massive problems are likely to arise in procuring critical raw materials, as global demand is already outstripping supply for many metals.

BYD, Globex Mining, Newmont, Freeport-McMoRan - Copper with doubling potential

The price of copper has lost around a third since March of the current stock market year. Investors are selling the metal, which is known as an economic barometer, due to global recession fears and concerns of a drop in demand. However, due to the great importance of copper with regard to the energy turnaround, the tide is likely to turn again soon. Mining companies and commodity traders are already warning of a massive shortage of the world's most important metal. Goldman Sachs expects the price of copper to reach USD 15,000 per ton by 2025, which would mean a doubling of the current level.

BYD, Phoenix Copper, Freeport-McMoRan - The supercycle is on

  • Electromobility

Inflation has risen again in the US, posting its highest level since February 1982 at 7.5%. Experts do not yet see any easing in the face of high energy and commodity prices. On the contrary, the inflationary spiral continues to spin and is being further fueled by policymakers' increasingly ambitious climate neutrality targets. Here, especially the required materials such as copper, lithium and cobalt could multiply. Due to high demand and low supply, further bottlenecks, delays in supply chains and thus rising prices are only a matter of time. Profit from it.

Daimler, QMines, Freeport McMoRan, Glencore, BMW - The Gold of Energy Transition

  • Copper

It is not without reason that copper is currently at a 10-year high. On the one hand, the recovering economies in China and the USA have enormously boosted demand for the metal. On the other hand, copper is one of the most important metals in the energy transition. Demand for solar modules, wind turbines and electric cars already exceeded supply last year. Yet, the new technologies are only at the beginning of a new cycle. The copper shortage is expected to increase dramatically in the next ten years. Profit from the new gold.

Kodiak Copper, Freeport-McMoRan, Millennial Lithium: The copper rally continues!

  • Copper

The whole world revolves around e-mobility, alternatively hydrogen, and everything is to be paid with cryptocurrencies in the future. That is the stock market at the turn of the year in one sentence. Wherever these topics are mentioned, prices go through the roof. Elon Musk can even turn bad Tesla numbers into a price increase with appropriate music, and tweeting the latest findings makes some people a few million heavier overnight. The copper market is a key control variable for technological developments in drives and storage media. We can't get around this commodity in the real world because it is in very short supply on the planet. So it shouldn't be surprising if the hype here goes on and on.
