Daimler, Altech Advanced Materials, Nel ASA, Varta - Battery bull market even without Tesla!

  • Technology

In 2021, many investor topics made hearts beat faster, whether e-mobility, hydrogen or lithium. Every megatrend had its green wave, and after the buying frenzy, there were also corrections. According to the latest statistics from the Deutsches Aktieninstitut, 12.1 million Germans were invested in shares, funds or ETFs. That corresponds to a shareholder quota of over 14% and delivers the third-highest result since records began in 1997. The new stock market players have to cope with fluctuations and uncertainties because the start of 2022 is incomparably bumpier than last year. We highlight current opportunities!

Samsung SDI, Altech Advanced Materials, Manz - Power stocks!

  • Technology

How is the energy turnaround to be achieved exclusively with renewable energy generation? The sun does not shine at night, and the wind does not blow every day. The answer is energy storage. Batteries and accumulators will play an increasingly important role in the future. Whether for electric vehicles of all kinds (pedelecs, automobiles, buses) or as intermediate storage for renewable energies (at home on a small scale or in wind and solar parks on a large scale). Without new and increasingly efficient storage technologies, the world will not achieve climate neutrality. These three "power stocks" should benefit massively from this development.

BYD, Altech Advanced Materials, Volkswagen: Who is as innovative as Tesla?

  • Electromobility

For years, e-cars lagged behind conventional drives in many areas: The ranges were significantly lower, and comfort remained inferior to classic combustion engines. In the meantime, however, things have changed. Chinese manufacturers, in particular, are scoring points with ranges of 1,000 km. Modern e-cars have also long been packed with gadgets that make the hearts of tech-savvy car enthusiasts beat faster. Does this mean that the development of e-cars is at an end? Not at all! We present three companies from the industry and analyze their innovative strength.

Tesla, Altech Advanced Materials, BYD - The battle for the battery of the future

  • Electromobility

Since climate change has become the focus of public attention, the goal of many countries is to reduce emissions. The transportation sector is the second-largest CO2 emitter; this includes motor vehicles. E-cars still cost significantly more than the conventional combustion engine because their batteries are still so expensive. Called out are costs under USD 100 per kilowatt-hour to bring the two vehicles together in price. Many different battery manufacturers are trying to improve the battery. Ideally, more energy can be stored, promising more range, the lifespan should be increased, and the batteries should become safer. Today, we look at three companies that have already made it a good bit of the way.

Standard Lithium, Altech Advanced Materials, BASF - The super battery for 2022!

  • Lithium

Whether e-mobility, aircraft technology or renewable energies, virtually all high-tech segments are looking for a suitable energy storage device. The development driver is climate protection, which will put mobility and energy generation and distribution on a new footing in the future. More environmentally friendly battery production processes are required to bring e-mobility to a level of efficiency similar to the most modern diesel technology, as well as a significant increase in performance with a simultaneous extension of service life. After all, what good is it if a vehicle eliminates emissions during operation but creates multiple pollutions during production and disposal of the energy cell? We highlight some of the companies at the heart of the technical revolution.
