Nel, Altech Advanced Materials, Mercedes - It is getting exciting!

  • Hydrogen
  • Electromobility
  • Technology

The challenges for the implementation of the energy turnaround are great. The desire to make greater use of renewable energy sources increased in light of the Ukraine war and the dependence on Russia that has become visible. Even after the highs of the Corona pandemic, supply chain issues and increased commodity prices continue to weigh. China's sabre-rattling illustrates that globalization not only brings benefits but also creates dependencies. In this respect, it is prudent for countries and industries to increasingly rely on national "solutions" or those that emanate from secure jurisdictions. In the megatrends of hydrogen technology and electromobility, investors should also keep an eye out for exciting companies from the second tier.

Nel ASA, Altech Advanced Materials, Varta - Gamechanger in the battery market?

  • Technology
  • Investments

Due to the energy transition, the transformation of transport from combustion engines to vehicles powered by electricity is underway. Globally, this is drastically increasing the demand for batteries. The battle for the best efficiency and range is in full swing, not just among electric car manufacturers. To date, the most powerful storage devices for electrical energy on an electrochemical basis have once again come from China. However, a German company is poised to become the new standard on the market by developing a new coating method.

Renewable energies in action: ThyssenKrupp, Altech Advanced Materials, Plug Power - Who is winning the race?

  • renewableenergies
  • GreenTech
  • greenhydrogen
  • Technology

Steel is responsible for 8 to 11% of global CO₂ emissions. It is essential for the automotive and construction industries and the manufacture of industrial machinery. It also forms the basis for a number of decarbonization technologies, including wind turbines, generators and smart grids. Without companies like ThyssenKrupp, it would not be possible to build electric cars, which will run faster than Elon Musk can tweet, thanks to innovative battery technology from Altech Advanced Materials AG. GreenTech companies like Plug Power also need steel for their green hydrogen plants. And ThyssenKrupp needs green hydrogen for CO₂-free production. Who is winning the race in the green energy play?

Cars have a future - Here is how investors can invest: Mercedes-Benz, Altech Advanced Materials, Varta

  • Electromobility
  • Technology

Mobility is a valuable commodity - despite high fuel prices. Studies show that Germans have continued to drive their cars since the end of February. For some, there is no other choice; for others, independence is too important. If demand for a product or service is so little dependent on price, this is known as low price elasticity of demand. For investors, this insight can be an important orientation that is worth hard cash.

The super battery is coming: Varta, Altech Advanced Materials, BYD, VW - Who will supply it?

  • Technology
  • Electromobility
  • Battery

In times of energy scarcity, storage is essential in addition to generation. Engineering firms worldwide are currently searching for the "super battery." It should contain fewer pollutants, be rechargeable many times, allow for a high capacity and not cause problems during later disposal. We will not be able to reconcile all of these criteria anytime soon, but in the overall process, even incremental steps are having a significant effect as the energy storage sector evolves into the next trillion-dollar market. Here is a selection of companies that are already making a major contribution.

Varta, Altech Advanced Materials, BYD - Full focus on the battery of the future for e-cars

  • Electromobility
  • Battery
  • Technology

The farewell to the combustion engine is a done deal. In the future, passenger cars will be powered electrically. The battery is crucial for success. Elon Musk said years ago, "The battery is our biggest bottleneck." It is still true today, as the batteries limit range and charging times remain high. Whoever succeeds in producing a better battery with less weight, longer durability, and faster charging can clearly set themselves apart from the competition. Today, we take a look at three companies that are tackling the development of the e-car battery of the future.

Insider alert at Varta, recommendation for Plug Power, Altech Advanced Materials with news

  • Battery
  • Electromobility
  • Technology

The energy and mobility turnaround is in full swing. Nevertheless, shares from this sector have also taken a beating in the stock market quake of recent weeks. Today we look at companies from this future market with current news. Alarm bells are ringing at Varta. A few days before the annual general meeting, an insider sells shares and generates an amount in the double-digit millions. At the same time, important news is imminent. Plug Power has recently seen a positive news flow. Nevertheless, the share has lost considerable ground - but according to an analyst, triple-digit price gains await. Such gains do not seem unrealistic for Altech Advanced Materials either if battery technology can be revolutionized.

Battery game-changers with relative strength: Mercedes-Benz, Altech Advanced Materials, Varta

  • Technology
  • Electromobility

Last September, for the first time, more electric cars were registered in Germany than diesel. And rightly so! A study by the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich compared 790 vehicle models. These included gasoline, diesel, hydrogen cars, hybrids and fully electric vehicles. The result: if the entire life cycle of a car and its recycling are taken into account, electric cars are the most sustainable. So there can only be one way forward for the auto industry. We present three shares that can profit.

Great opportunities in alternative energies - BYD, Altech Advanced Materials, Nordex

  • Battery
  • Electromobility

Policymakers are accelerating the shift from fossil fuels to alternative energy sources, and the Ukraine conflict is adding further momentum to this process. In the field of electromobility, manufacturers are fighting for the best batteries with the longest ranges. A start-up may have succeeded in creating a game-changer in the lucrative battery market with a new coating process. Initial pre-feasibility studies show a huge discrepancy between the current stock market value and the project value.

Altech Advanced Materials, Varta, Mercedes - This way!

  • Electromobility
  • Battery

The latest data from the Federal Statistical Office speak a clear language. E-cars are increasingly in demand. Around 90% of German e-car production is exported. "Made in Germany" therefore still scores points. The performance of the batteries, adequate infrastructure and the availability of essential raw materials such as lithium are important parameters for rapid market penetration. Innovations always remain the trump card. Germany certainly doesn't have to hide in this respect.
