Canopy, Tilray, Sativa Wellness, Formycon - Finding the next cannabis rocket!
The big bull market in cannabis ran through 2018 and 2019, and then in 2020, the reality set in that only a fraction of states around the world will implement general licensing for hemp. The newly elected federal parliament has its first constituent session these days. Climate change and investments in digital infrastructure are two of the most important topics in the coalition negotiations to form a new federal government. One topic that is not quite so high on the list of priorities, but is already causing a lot of excitement in the run-up, is the possible legalization of cannabis. The Greens and FDP have been advocating legal, regulated trade for some time. Of course, nothing has been decided yet, but the outgoing federal government's drug commissioner, Daniela Ludwig of the CSU, already warns of the consequences. We take a look at important industry representatives.

Formycon, Memiontec, Synlab - Act before it is too late!
When an unpredictable event occurs, humanity sees how powerless it is in the face of it. We saw this in the spring of last year with the outbreak of the Corona pandemic. Only since the approval of various vaccines has a normalization taken place. However, further, foreseeable problems are coming our way. According to expert forecasts, water demand will exceed supply by 40% as early as 2030. Some companies sense an opportunity to profit from the water shortage through novel technologies.

BioNTech, Defence Therapeutics, Valneva, Formycon - Close to the bio-revolution!
Portugal is one of the countries with the highest vaccination rate, with 86% of the population already vaccinated. Approximately 98% of those eligible for vaccination - including everyone over the age of 12 - have been vaccinated. Germany, with about 64%, is one of the more vaccine-weary nations. What is the secret of the Portuguese? The government relied on an opinion maker from within its ranks, Admiral Gouveia e Melo. An expert in complicated logistical tasks in the military, he was appointed in February as the top leader of the national vaccination campaign. He is never seen without his military combat uniform in numerous public television appearances - and when asked how other countries can move their own vaccination effort forward, the admiral did not hesitate to offer his best advice: "You have to find people who are not politicians." Where are the current opportunities in the vaccination sector?

BioNTech, Formycon, Aztec Minerals, NanoRepro - Rollercoaster rides in the summer lull!
Summer lull and total standstill! Who has not just invested in BioNTech or Northern Data feels barely any movement in the portfolio. The stock exchanges are rehearsing the standstill, somehow nothing is going up, but this does not mean that things have to fall. Old sayings such as "What goes up, must come down!" have already been outdated for some time. For some stocks, the fantasy lasts endlessly; for other former hype candidates, the rally ends in the shredder. The hydrogen stock Nel has now lost 20% in one week. Many will say no problem because the stock market darling stands on a 3-year view still over 300% in the plus. Just someone probably has his initial investment above EUR 3. We keep trying with selective ideas.

BioNTech, Defence Therapeutics, Formycon - Which biotech stock suits which investor?
Corona is and remains the threat of the hour. In this respect, it is not surprising that the papers of the German vaccine pioneer BioNTech have gone on a fabulous journey. Other companies are still trying to jump on this bandwagon, too. For example, both Canada's Defence Therapeutics and Munich-based Formycon AG are researching a Covid-19 vaccine. However, these developments are at very different stages. In addition, the further product spectrum differs significantly in some cases. But which share is the right one for the portfolio? We took a closer look at the three dissimilar siblings.

MorphoSys, Defence Therapeutics, Formycon - Biotechnology shares with great potential
In the wake of the corona pandemic, companies such as BioNTech, Pfizer and Moderna demonstrated how quickly and safely vaccines can be developed and mass-produced using innovative biotechnological processes. Biotech stocks have risen in favor again, even outside Covid-19. However, some stocks lag behind the price targets forecast by experts, while others are slowly moving (again) in the right direction. We look at three stocks that offer excellent opportunities at the current price level.

CureVac, Cardiol Therapeutics, Formycon, NanoRepro - Pharma stocks with potential!
In Germany, around 231,000 people died as a result of cancer in 2019. As reported by the Federal Statistical Office, cancer was the cause of a quarter of all deaths. This proportion has hardly changed within 20 years, even though the number of cancer deaths has increased by around 10% since 1999. The precise number 1 cause of widespread disease in Germany is cardiovascular disease, such as heart failure, coronary heart disease and myocardial infarction. With 18.2 million deaths, they represented the most common cause of death worldwide in 2019. In Europe, more than 4 million people die each year due to such a disease, 1.4 million of whom are younger than 75. So research continues to be in demand. We look at interesting representatives of the industry.

Formycon, NanoRepro, CureVac, PsyBio Therapeutics - Beat Corona with these stocks!
The vaccination rate is moving steadily forward in Europe. The European Commission has ordered another 2 billion doses from BioNTech. After all the squabbling over AstraZeneca, that may not be a bad decision. But the successors in this market will soon be on the starting blocks. CureVac is close to the approval of its vaccine, and Formycon is making a push with a therapy. NanoRepro, a Company based in Marburg, Germany, wants to bring a highly valid antigen test to market that can give those already vaccinated clear information about the body's immune defenses. The pace in the health sector could not be higher at the moment.

BioNTech, Formycon, Psybio Therapeutics: A chance for normality?
It is a matter of course: The desire for normality! Things have not been normal over the last 12 months, which everyone is now feeling. Our society has had a lot to shoulder since the turn of the millennium. The extreme increase in radicalism, the emergence of dangerous dictators and incompetent politicians, the polarization of beliefs, the explosive development of wealth in shares and real estate owners with simultaneous global impoverishment, the excessive indebtedness of the states, and now, a worldwide pandemic of unimagined proportions. It takes a good deal of imagination to believe in a "normalization" and then a more philosophical question quickly arises: What does an economic reality with and after the pandemic look like?

Cardiol Therapeutics, Bayer, Formycon: These pharma stocks could explode!
According to official statistics, diseases of the cardiovascular system, such as heart failure, coronary heart disease or myocardial infarction, are the No.1 cause of death in Germany. With 18.2 million deaths, they represented the most common cause of death worldwide in 2019. Thus, on a global average, a good 30% of all deaths are attributable to cardiovascular disease. In Europe, more than 4 million people die each year due to such a disease, 1.4 million of whom are younger than 75. But there are many other dangers to our health. Reason enough to take a closer look.
