Is there a credit crunch coming? Alarm signals in the SME sector: Deutsche Bank, Commerzbank, Globex Mining
German SMEs are under pressure, struggling with the weight of the economic crisis, regulations and requirements, as well as increasingly poor financing conditions. According to Creditreform, German SMEs currently have little confidence in Germany as a business location. This mistrust is supported by a growing number of payment defaults. 11.2% of companies surveyed by Creditreform recently reported bad debt losses exceeding 1% of their turnover. Resourceful investors are already taking precautions.

Coinbase, Globex Mining, New Gold – Clear signals
It has now happened: the United States is directly involved in the war in the Middle East and has bombed nuclear facilities in Iran. The response from Tehran's government was swift. Iranian Foreign Minister Araghtschi said the US has "crossed a very thick red line." Iran will "defend itself by all necessary means," he said. As a result, a spillover of the conflict into other countries cannot be ruled out. Once again, gold is serving as a safe haven. A jump above its previous all-time high is quite possible in the coming days, which could benefit both gold producers and exploration companies. Bitcoin is also showing relative strength in this turbulent environment.

Defense explodes, commodities boom, gold shines: Rheinmetall, Globex Mining, and Barrick Mining benefit
Three explosive markets dominate investor interest: defense, critical raw materials, and gold. Geopolitical rifts and economic upheavals are fueling these sectors like never before in decades. Defense giants are benefiting from an unprecedented wave of rearmament. Commodity markets are experiencing a new supercycle driven by structural demand pressure and tight supply. At the same time, capital investors are fleeing en masse to the safe haven of gold, whose price is inexorably breaking new records. These trends define the investment opportunities for 2025. We, therefore, take a closer look at Rheinmetall, Globex Mining, and Barrick Mining.

This commodity rule no longer applies: Barrick Gold, BHP Group, Globex Mining
The mining industry is undergoing change: ESG criteria are playing an increasingly important role. Megatrends such as the electrification of mobility and industry are changing global demand for commodities. At the same time, security of supply is becoming more critical due to increasing geopolitical tensions. Today, we take a look at three companies – Barrick Gold, BHP Group and Globex Mining – and explain why investors need to rethink their approach to commodity stocks, as old principles no longer apply in today's market.

RAW MATERIALS and DEFENSE! Sell Hensoldt? Buy Deutz and Globex Mining shares?
Raw materials and defense remain among the hot topics of the year. Globex Mining is benefiting not only from the gold boom but also from the battle for raw materials. The stock of the mining incubator currently offers an exciting entry opportunity. Analysts recommend buying Deutz. However, after a solid quarter, the engine manufacturer needs to shift up a gear or two to justify its valuation. A highlight was the development in order intake. This is precisely what Hensoldt is lacking. When a growth company's revenue increases more strongly than its order intake, investors should at least keep an eye on it. Analysts are also skeptical regarding Hensoldt's valuation and recommend selling the stock.

Defense out - Time to buy commodities! Hensoldt, Globex Mining, Barrick, Mutares, and Steyr
That is how quickly market darlings can fall out of favor. Just last week, Rheinmetall & Co. were hitting record highs, but as of Monday, the euphoria came to a sudden halt. Trump agreed with China on lower tariffs, and Volodymyr Zelenskyy will travel to Turkey on Thursday to sit down with Russia's aggressor, Vladimir Putin. At the moment, this is still hard to believe. For the capital markets, however, this means a shift: out of defense and into high-tech and automotive stocks, the biggest winners of recent hours. The whole thing could be seen as a healthy rotation, as the major indices are at record levels, while tech and automotive stocks have corrected significantly in recent weeks. Once again, the cards are being reshuffled. For Globex Mining, the setback is suitable for medium-term follow-up purchases.

Yet, in the background, a new power dynamic is taking shape: companies that are not only developing deposits but also forging the future of resource security. This is where it will be decided who pulls the strings in the chaos of trade blockades – and who becomes a pawn. Three players are suddenly in the spotlight: Barrick Gold, Globex Mining, and Rio Tinto.
