Securing raw materials in Europe: How Avrupa Minerals, Altius Minerals, and Elemental Royalty Corporation are organizing supply chains
The EU is looking for domestic sources of copper, zinc, and strategic metals to secure its industrial base. Recent analyses by the European Court of Auditors show a dependence on imports for 10 of 26 critical minerals needed for the energy transition and modern defense systems. Despite the Critical Raw Materials Act, which aims to increase domestic production to 10% of demand, auditors identify bottlenecks in the financing and practical implementation of the requirements. At the same time, consultancies such as McKinsey are forecasting a significant increase in demand for materials for the energy transition, with annual growth rates in the single-digit percentage range through 2035. In this environment, specialized players are positioning themselves to provide access to deposits and manage capital risks for investors. We present three companies with a focus on Avrupa Minerals.

"Property Bank" for the raw materials era: Globex Mining combines the best of Franco-Nevada and Altius
The current market phase is a turning point for the global mining industry. While gold prices above USD 5,000 per ounce and a structural copper deficit dominate the headlines in the financial press, traditional explorers are struggling with the harsh reality in the background: drilling costs are skyrocketing, approval processes are taking forever, and the risk of drilling a "dry hole" has never been more expensive than it is today. In an environment of growing operational risks, a business model that creates security through scale and diversification is gaining in importance: the so-called "property bank." While industry giants such as Franco-Nevada shine with substantial revenues from royalties and Altius Minerals creates value as a project generator, a smaller but highly agile player combines both worlds in a single stock. With a portfolio of over 250 projects, Globex Mining effectively offers investors a commodity ETF in a single holding, without any of the debt or dilution risks of a conventional mining operator.

Green Capital 2.0: How RE Royalties is closing the gap between Hannon Armstrong and Altius
The end of cheap money is forcing wind and solar park developers into a new reality: traditional banks are withdrawing from risk financing, but the investment pressure for the energy transition remains high. Specialized royalty financiers are stepping into this vacuum. While established players such as Hannon Armstrong and Altius Renewable Royalties already dominate this segment, the still largely undiscovered player RE Royalties now offers investors the opportunity to be at the beginning of a similar growth curve. The massive gap between developers' capital requirements and what banks have to offer is the ideal breeding ground for this business model.
