Nervousness is rising across the markets. Share prices are being driven by major investors taking stakes, the AI boom, political statements, and the latest developments in the war. While chip giant Infineon is benefiting from a massive AI boost despite market turbulence, China's Anta is gaining influence at Puma and could give the sporting goods manufacturer exactly the fresh momentum it needs. Meanwhile, Canadian technology company HPQ Silicon is approaching a critical technical resistance level. A breakout could open the door to significant upside potential. What opportunities do these three very different stocks offer, and where might an entry point be worthwhile?

Infineon: On Its Way to Becoming an AI Powerhouse Despite Macroeconomic Headwinds

The semiconductor sector has shown its nervous side recently, driven by global macroeconomic factors and ongoing interest rate discussions. Following a strong interim rally, Infineon shares have recently come under heavy pressure again and lost considerable ground amid general profit-taking. Nevertheless, this purely cyclical market panic may be too short-sighted, as Infineon's technological foundations and financial figures show.

Operationally, the DAX group is proving robust, with record revenue of EUR 4.17 billion in the third financial quarter and a segment result margin of 19.1%. For the full year, management forecasts revenue of around EUR 16.3 billion and a margin of approximately 20%. The high-margin power-supply chip business for AI data centres is emerging as a key growth driver, with revenue of EUR 2.5 billion targeted for the current financial year, up from EUR 1.6 billion in the previous year.

The shares are currently trading at EUR 59, corresponding to a market capitalisation of around EUR 80 billion and a P/E ratio well above 60. That is, of course, no longer particularly cheap. The dividend yield stands at 0.57%, which is not necessarily a buying argument for dividend hunters either. Nevertheless, analysts are issuing price targets of up to EUR 96 given that long-term trends remain intact. Investors looking at the recent portfolio streamlining and acquisitions such as C2i Semiconductors will recognise a well-equipped semiconductor giant. From a technical perspective, however, the shares would need to rise sustainably above the EUR 67 level again for the uptrend to continue. Prices below EUR 50, on the other hand, would offer a price target of EUR 40 – 45.

Puma: Back on the Road to Success with Fresh Tailwind from the Far East?

In the shadow of the major technology indices, a high-profile ownership change in the German sporting goods industry, planned for some time but only now completed, is making headlines. Chinese industry giant Anta Sports has completed the acquisition of French holding company Artémis's 29.06% stake, worth around EUR 1.5 billion. This brings in a new major shareholder who could give the MDAX group fresh impetus. Whether this succeeds, however, remains uncertain and depends on many factors that are hard to predict.

Operationally, the situation remains challenging ahead of the upcoming quarterly figures on October 30, as consumer sentiment is having a dampening effect and analysts are forecasting third-quarter revenue of EUR 1.76 billion and a slight EBIT loss. For the full year 2026, experts expect revenue to fall 5.5% to EUR 6.89 billion, before returning to profitable growth in 2027. The gross margin is expected to stabilise at 49% in the current quarter.

The shares are currently trading around EUR 23 and, in the view of many market observers, may therefore offer an attractive entry opportunity at this level. Following a temporary suspension of the 2026 dividend, analysts are already factoring in payouts of EUR 0.08 for 2027 and EUR 0.41 for 2028. The strategic partnership with Anta Sports could prove to be an important catalyst for sustainably strengthening global competitiveness. In principle, however, the share price should not fall back below EUR 21.50, as this would threaten a slide into the EUR 18-19 region. Another danger is the formation of a “death cross”, in which the 50-day SMA crosses the 200-day SMA from above to below.

HPQ Silicon: On the Verge of a Technical Breakout

Investors are weighing up different share-price prospects for Canadian technology and resources stock HPQ Silicon, which has positioned itself deeply within the green transformation. With strategic partnerships, government orders for specialised batteries and the completion of a 50/50 joint venture structure, the company is gaining operational momentum. The company recently finalised the full 50/50 ownership structure for the joint company HPQ Silica Polvere together with PyroGenesis, thereby creating a platform for joint commercialisation. Perhaps even greater potential, however, lies in the latest battery success at subsidiary Novacium, which has delivered the first prototypes of highly efficient silicon batteries for tactical radios to the French army, offering twice the energy capacity while remaining fully compatible with existing equipment. Shares could gain momentum if the current resistance zone breaks. From a technical perspective, there is currently a downward-sloping line, where a sustained breakout above CAD 0.14, or better still CAD 0.15, would pave the way. Recently, increased volume on the chart clearly showed buyers are keen to pick up shares at low prices, and underlying interest is rising strongly. On the downside, the CAD 0.12 to 0.13 range offers reliable support, while a jump above resistance at CAD 0.155 and CAD 0.165 could clear the way towards CAD 0.20.

With a recent closing price of CAD 0.135, the stock is in an intriguing position, poised to move, with the ambitious, still distant targets of CAD 0.24 to 0.25 waiting as a longer-term price target. This was also the location of a previous notable high. If this milestone is surpassed sustainably, the CAD 0.30 level will then come into investors' focus. Thanks to the solid “partnership” with PyroGenesis and subsidiary Novacium, the company could be a highly interesting, albeit speculative, addition to some portfolios.

Längerfristig könnten Kurs um die 0,25 CAD oder gar darüber hinaus denkbar sein!

Conclusion

Infineon impresses as a solid technology giant with strong growth drivers in the AI segment, even though short-term interest rate pressure weighs on sentiment. Puma is undergoing an exciting transition phase with fresh tailwinds from China, while HPQ Silicon, as an innovative small-cap, could be on the verge of significant technical and operational breakthroughs.

Every Crisis Creates an Opportunity: Nordex Stumbles, Jungheinrich Struggles, and RE Royalties Looks to Have Found a Bottom

When market participants suddenly lose their nerve, and industrial heavyweights like Jungheinrich plunge to new multi-year lows despite bulging order books, a key question for private investors, among others, is whether this is a dangerous crisis with further downside ahead or an attractive entry opportunity. Nordex, too, has recently struggled to build on its successes from earlier this year. The share is trapped in a consolidation phase and has now returned to its level from late February, when it broke out upwards on high volume and with a long green weekly candlestick. Is this an attractive entry point for investors desperately seeking stable, high-yield alternatives in the future-oriented renewable energy market? Find out why scepticism could prevail regarding well-known German names and why a pioneer in royalty financing could be on the verge of the next major share price surge following a technical “textbook pattern”.

Drones, AI and Gold: Samsung, Volatus Aerospace and Equinox Gold in Focus

These are turbulent times for the stock markets. Interest rates are rising, bank stocks are weakening, and the number of mega-IPOs, including SpaceX and Anthropic, keeps growing. Parallels with previous stock-market crashes are becoming increasingly apparent. Yet many investors are still riding a wave of euphoria. The current bull market is already the longest in US stock-market history, driven largely by artificial intelligence. But the downside is becoming increasingly evident: valuations are high, and concentration in the major stock indices is enormous. Consider just one example: ten stocks, the so-called Magnificent Seven, along with Broadcom, AMD, and Micron, now account for 42% of the S&P 500. At these levels, there is little room for anything to go wrong. Even in this market environment, however, opportunities and risks coexist. Today, we take a closer look at Samsung, Volatus Aerospace and Equinox Gold.

Created and Published on Behalf of NU E Power Corp.

Nvidia recently reached a new all-time high, highlighting the continued momentum behind the AI boom. Beyond the industry leader, other companies are seeking to capitalize on the rapid expansion of artificial intelligence. NU E Power aims to help ensure that data centres have access to the electricity they need. Morgan Stanley, among others, has warned of potential power shortages, while the International Energy Agency sees insufficient grid capacity as a critical bottleneck. Following a spectacular rally, Nebius is adding further momentum through an acquisition and a partnership with Palantir. At LPKF, meanwhile, AI optimism is being weighed against a lower forecast. Analysts continue to maintain their positive stance on the company. The question is how these developments could shape the outlook for the three companies.
