Only 'cash is king' seems to be the motto of this stock market week. High inflation is bringing tech stocks to their knees, and heavy artillery is also being brought to bear on Valneva's dead vaccine development front. The EU Commission wants to cancel the preliminary contract if the vaccine is not finally delivered within a month. Depth is also to be expected at Edgemont Gold, only this time, good things are hidden there. The gold exploration company is getting promising results from its third drill hole.

Corporate giant Bayer is collaborating with Charité Berlin to cure genetic diseases in the future. A paradox? Big Pharma thrives on alleviating symptoms but not curing diseases. Things will soon look different. The biotech company NervGen is also dedicated to curing diseases. The approach here: reverse degenerative nerve conditions through self-healing. Specifically, this means helping individuals with paraplegia who are wheelchair-bound reconnect their neural pathways. The Company is in the clinical trials phase and was started by a co-founder who witnessed a dramatic accident. One cannot speak of an accident at the real estate company Adler Group. Investing in real estate is becoming increasingly volatile, whether as a landlord due to higher energy prices or as an investor in the Adler Group. In the latter case, auditor KPMG did not put an audit certificate on the 2021 annual financial statements because it remains unclear how the loss of around EUR 1 billion came about. The share slid into the basement, and four board members resigned. A look across the pond at Amazon, and Amazon Web Services, in particular, shows what can help a balanced portfolio mix. Boeing, the Seattle-based company, has gained a significant customer in the aviation industry. In this industry, the rare earth metal tungsten is in great demand. Thanks to its high density, it protects against radiation and is used for this purpose in the sheathing of aircraft. We take a look at what investors should watch out for now.
