Nordex, Rheinmetall, Barsele Minerals: Turnaround potential!

  • Mining
  • Gold
  • Turnaround
  • Defense

These three stocks have turnaround potential. Admittedly, investing is not easy in the current environment with inflation, rising interest rates and war in Ukraine. But challenging times offer great opportunities. Take Rheinmetall, for example: The stock has corrected by over 30%, yet the prospects are good and analysts also see a price potential of over 70%. Nordex has many problems of its own making, but here too, the industry environment is right, thanks to global investment packages for renewable energy. At Barsele Minerals, the gold price is a burden, but in the meantime, the market capitalization is well below the asset's value, and the recent capital increase was significantly oversubscribed.

Analysts are bullish on BYD, less bullish on Varta and news from Infinity Stone Ventures

  • Mining
  • Commodities
  • Electromobility
  • Lithium

In terms of sales figures, BYD has already overtaken industry star Tesla. But the share could not benefit from this due to the partial sales of major shareholder Berkshire Hathaway. After the price slide, it now seems to be regaining its footing. Analysts are bullish and see great opportunities for the Chinese e-car maker in foreign expansion, among other things. Experts see few opportunities at Varta at the moment, and the chart is battered. Most recently, an analyst reduced the price target to EUR 65. The newsflow currently offers little hope. Infinity Stone Ventures is an entirely different story. The specialist for critical raw materials in Canada benefits from the political environment and is expanding its lithium areas. More news can be expected in the fall.

300% chance with MorphoSys share? News from BioNTech and Defence Therapeutics

  • Biotechnology

Analysts see a 300% price potential for MorphoSys. However, the latest quarterly figures did not give cause for euphoria. And not all analysts are so positive. On the other hand, BioNTech is currently doing well. The Mainz-based Company has received approval for its Omicron vaccine in the UK. However, the sustainable share price is increasingly determined by the pipeline. There is important news concerning the pipeline at Defence Therapeutics. In preclinical studies for the development of a novel cellular vaccine to fight cancer, the survival rate was 100%. The Canadians' unconventional approach could revolutionize modern medicine. More on the three biotech stocks here.

Commodity shares K+S, Barrick Gold, Manuka Resources: Gold price at 50,000?

  • Mining
  • Gold
  • Commodities

The price of a troy ounce of gold rises to USD 50,000. This scenario is probably the dream of every gold bull and also for companies like Barrick Gold and Manuka Resources. John Butler has proclaimed this price target. The Head of Treasury of TallyMoney and author of The Golden Revolution has described the scenario to reach this price target in an interview. The prerequisite is that the world moves to a gold standard monetary system. And this is not as unlikely as one might think because the economic dominance of the USA has been declining for years, and the BRICS countries are reportedly already working on a reserve currency. K+S is also currently under pressure. Price targets of analysts differ significantly.

BYD after Buffett shock - Better to bet on JinkoSolar and Meta Materials?

  • metamaterials
  • Innovations
  • Technology
  • Electromobility

So, now it is done: Star investor Warren Buffett has sold shares in the Tesla hunter, BYD. Although it is only a small part of the investment, the BYD share went down significantly. Because now, the door is open to speculation about what will happen to the legal shares - Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway still holds almost 19% of the Chinese carmaker. The convincing quarterly figures have thus receded into the background. JinkoSolar has presented mixed figures. The Company is benefiting from the skyrocketing electricity and gas prices. After all, they are driving demand for solar systems, but analysts are divided. Meta Materials' innovative functional materials are also expected to revolutionize renewable energy production in the future. For further development, the patent octopus has now strengthened itself with a veteran of the chip industry.

Poison pill slows down Nel share - will BioNTech and Almonty Industries soon take off?

  • Mining
  • Tungsten
  • Hydrogen
  • Biotechnology

The Nel ASA share is currently not for the faint-hearted. The stock is caught between hydrogen euphoria and a downward chart trend. Yet the news from the Company and the industry - such as the deal between Plug Power and Amazon - has been positive overall recently. But there is a poison pill. In contrast, the coming week could be exciting for BioNTech shareholders. In Germany, deliveries of the Corona vaccine, which has been adapted to virus variants, is scheduled to start. This could also give the shares of the German biotech flagship a new lease of life. The Almonty share could also soon break the knot. The discussion about reducing dependence on China for raw materials is picking up speed. Consistent with this, Almonty reports progress in the development of the tungsten mine in South Korea.

Sell Nel ASA? Buy HelloFresh and Aspermont?

  • Technology
  • Media
  • Fintech

Despite individual setbacks, the mood on the stock market is currently good and the summer rally is underway. Alongside shares from the technology sector, hydrogen stocks such as Plug Power and Nel ASA are currently among the high flyers. However, JPMorgan is interfering. The analysts rate the hydrogen specialist as "Underweight" and thus advise selling. They believe the share price could drop by a significant double-digit percentage. In contrast, two analysts have commented positively on HelloFresh. Berenberg even sees a doubling potential. There are also praising words for Aspermont. The debt-free Company is growing, the new fintech platform is exciting, and the valuation is very low compared to the peer group.

Over 200% share price potential? Analysts on BioNTech, BASF and Saturn Oil + Gas

  • Mining
  • Oil
  • Biotechnology

The stock markets are friendly this week and the summer rally continues. Analysts still see room for improvement in the BioNTech share. The German biotech leader could be in for a golden autumn. Its product pipeline is promising. High energy prices and a looming gas shock in winter are causing trouble for the share of BASF. Analysts are also divided: "outperform" or "sell"? At Saturn Oil & Gas, free cash flow could almost reach the level of current market capitalization in the coming year. Therefore, analysts predict a revaluation potential and a share price potential of more than 200%. After all, investor legend Warren Buffett also backs oil producers.

Alarm at Plug Power, problems for Nordex is good for Alpha Copper

  • Mining
  • Copper
  • renewableenergies

It is the summer of renewable energy stocks. Russia's attack on Ukraine, high oil and gas prices, and climate change are just a few arguments why investors are so electrified by the sector. However, there is also a lot of advance praise being handed out. That is the case with Plug Power. When a company makes more losses than sales, alarm bells start ringing. But the Plug Power share is taking this surprisingly well. According to analysts, Nordex continues to suffer from high purchase prices, and an impending copper shortage will not reduce the problems. Alpha Copper should benefit from scarce copper. Drilling programs are giving the share a tailwind.

BioNTech, BYD, Altech Advanced Materials: Excitement is rising

  • Battery
  • Electromobility
  • Biotechnology

So much for the summer slump. The stock markets are generally friendly at the moment, and many shares are reacting with significant price swings to news, both negative and positive. Like with BioNTech, the share price fell sharply after an impressive rally after the quarterly figures. There are good reasons for rising prices in the coming weeks. BYD is also going full throttle operationally. The e-car manufacturer is reporting one sales record after another, and details are emerging about the launch in Germany to knock Tesla off its electric throne. E-cars, possibly also from BYD, are expected to incorporate battery technology from Altech Advanced Materials in the future. The Company is working on revolutionary technology, and new details are expected by the time of the AGM.
