Born in Munich, he first studied economics and graduated in business administration at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in 1995. As he was involved with the stock market at a very early stage, he now has more than 30 years of experience in the capital markets. In the historic dot.com year 2000, he trained as a CEFA analyst in Frankfurt and has since then accompanied over 20 IPOs in Germany.
Until 2018, he held various positions at banks as an asset manager, capital market and macro expert as well as fundamental equity analyst. He is passionate about the energy, commodity and technology markets as well as the tactical and strategic asset allocation of liquid investment products. As an expert speaker at investment committee meetings of funds as well as at customer events, he can still describe the course of the 1987 crash, one of the major buying opportunities of the last 33 years on the stock market.
Today, he knows that the profit in shares is not necessarily the result of buying cheaply, but above all of avoiding mistakes and recognizing in good time when markets are ready to let air out. After all, in addition to basic fundamental analysis, investing in stocks is above all a phenomenon of global liquidity and this must be monitored regularly.

TUI, TeamViewer, White Metal Resources - Is the breakout to the upside coming?
Calm is different! Actually, with volatility well below 20, there should be a noticeable calm in the market. However, this is not the case. There is high turnover in individual stocks and sectoral movements as not seen for 20 years. The reason for this is the number of active shareholders and market participants willing to trade since the many lockdowns. No longer under the supervision of the bosses, one or two trading platforms are simply running along at home. This increases the depth of trading and turnover on the stock exchanges - and 95% of all speculators are trading long. The percentage of shareholders is also growing steadily; in 2021, it could approach 10% in Germany. We look at stocks with breakout potential.

The Power of Digital Media - AMC, ProSieben, Tencent, Aspermont
Sell in May and go away...in 2021, it has not yet worked. The weather in June is much warmer and the markets are rushing from one all-time high to the next. The DAX reached a new high yesterday at 15,732. The mood was outstanding, especially when it came to vehicle values. However, the excesses were slightly slowed down at AMC Entertainment. Now that the Company has placed three capital increases, some calm has returned. We look at a few special situations in this advanced bull market.

CureVac, Cardiol Therapeutics, Formycon, NanoRepro - Pharma stocks with potential!
In Germany, around 231,000 people died as a result of cancer in 2019. As reported by the Federal Statistical Office, cancer was the cause of a quarter of all deaths. This proportion has hardly changed within 20 years, even though the number of cancer deaths has increased by around 10% since 1999. The precise number 1 cause of widespread disease in Germany is cardiovascular disease, such as heart failure, coronary heart disease and myocardial infarction. With 18.2 million deaths, they represented the most common cause of death worldwide in 2019. In Europe, more than 4 million people die each year due to such a disease, 1.4 million of whom are younger than 75. So research continues to be in demand. We look at interesting representatives of the industry.

Brokers in the storm of digitalization - Commerzbank, wallstreet:online, Palantir, SAP
The stock market madness goes into the next round. If it was GameStop last time, it is now AMC Entertainment. Plus 600% in 2 weeks and the day before yesterday a smooth doubler in one day. The share started at 30 and ran in the high to USD 70. Then yesterday came the issue of 11 million shares to increase liquidity supposedly. Good marketing stunt! The Company is, of course, taking advantage of the high share price to place USD 500 million. That is a sum the Company could not have raised at all six months ago. Yesterday, the Company warned that its share price was far too high.

GameStop, AMC, Bitcoin Group, Triumph Gold - Chaos is the order of the day!
Now the stock market must show how much steam is still in the boiler. Again, the DAX could mark a new ATH the day before yesterday; it was at 15,687 points. Here the air was then somewhat thin, and the afternoon brought a correction to below 15,600 points. The investment community has taken a rest here for the time being. The volatility as a fluctuation indicator even came back strongly in the last few days but then fell back below 20. This indicator shows that the need for hedging is probably dwindling, i.e. the interest of the investment community is instead directed upwards. Some stocks are worth keeping on the radar.

Heidelberger Druck, Steinhoff, Adler Modemärkte, RYU Apparel - These penny stocks are exploding!
Whenever the stock market marks another high, investors think about which stocks might be "left behind." Sure, there are undervalued stocks, yet the market usually has good reasons why stocks are trading low or even in the penny stock range. Often, these are stocks that have reported very low figures or operate an uncompetitive business model. While DAX stocks were able to climb to new highs again yesterday, some stocks still lag or show interesting special movements. We take a closer look at a few stocks that fluctuated strongly.

Royal Dutch Shell, BP, Gazprom, Saturn Oil + Gas - The oil rally is starting now!
Now it is getting really exciting on the oil market. Brent is scratching at the USD 70 mark and WTI is preparing to leave the USD 67 mark behind. At the moment, oil prices are moving at the upper end of their annual range. In addition to a general shortage of raw materials, there is now some inflationary pressure, and to add, many market participants expect a travel boom in the summer. All of this requires energy, and most of it is still made up of fossil components. For some time now, oil prices have benefited from the prospect of a gradual increase in demand. The decisive factor is the economic recovery, especially in the USA, China and large parts of Europe. In this environment, the oil ministers of the OPEC+ Group intend to discuss their production policy on Tuesday.

Millennial Lithium, Orocobre, ThyssenKrupp, NSJ Gold - Bitcoin versus Commodities - bull market ahead!
It could still end badly! The crypto world corrects properly; Bitcoin has now lost over 50% from the top. Whether it was the ban in China or simply an exaggeration - we do not know. The fact is that stocks continue to rise just like yields, i.e. the inflation trend in assets of all kinds is once again in full swing. The stock and real estate markets are not bothered by the higher interest rates, and commodities are also marking new highs every day. The bull market in commodities seems well-founded if one wants to evaluate the physical scarcity of wood, iron, nickel, copper and aluminum. The same is true for gold & silver. Will lithium also start again soon?

Airbus, Lufthansa, TUI, Silver Viper - Here we go!
In the third wave of the Corona pandemic, hope is now growing that life is returning to a new normal for ordinary citizens. If this is the correct decision criterion, the daily incidence figures are falling briskly, and public life seems to be gradually becoming possible again. Airbus, Lufthansa and TUI are showing the first signs of economic relief. Reason for us to research a few things in more detail.

Bitcoin Group, SUSE, Barrick Gold, Troilus Gold - Gold is back!
Now the question arises: precious metals or crypto? The answer was straightforward in recent days because the cryptocurrencies corrected hand in hand with the Bitcoin crash by up to 80%. On the other hand, gold and silver were able to optimize their chart trajectories upwards and regained the levels from last summer. Gold is now USD 150 short of the 2020 high, and silver is just under USD 2 short. Precious metal fans say that this is all to be done; the crypto community, on the other hand, calls the digital currency the new salvation. Currently, this is probably a problematic stalemate for investors, but the long-term trends speak in favor of gold.
