The Very Good Food Company, Amazon, Anheuser-Busch Inbev - Change in shopping behavior due to the pandemic
The Corona Crisis has changed the shopping behavior of people worldwide. On the one hand, there is a trend towards more online shopping; on the other hand, people are spending more money on higher-quality food, which in most cases is still bought locally. In Germany, this can be seen very clearly in a study by the Gfk market research institute. Discounters in Germany saw a 1.4% drop in sales in the first half of 2021, while supermarkets showed a 6.3% increase. Due to the pandemic, practically all special expenses such as restaurant visits, vacations, etc., fell away, and the money saved is invested in higher-quality products in the supermarket, among other things.

Alibaba, Memiontec, MorphoSys - Now the rally after the sell-off!
The regulator's pressure is getting bigger and bigger. China has tightened the thumbscrews on technology giants and especially their online education companies - triggering a stock market quake on its own stock market. In some cases, well-known tech stocks lost double digits, even though the affected areas only affect fractions of annual sales. Government regulation of the USD 100 billion-plus education market is likely to weaken confidence in China's stock markets for the long term. And the fact that China's trade relations with the US have also reached a low point does not make things any better. Are there still opportunities?

Barrick Gold, Mineworx, TUI: Summertime is investment time
Invest or consume? Given the difficult months many of us have had, it would be understandable to unwind now: sun, beach and sea beckon despite rising numbers. But it may also make sense to think more long-term in the face of rapid change. Central banks are allowing more inflation and the printing press continues to run fast. Especially in the current summer lethargy, this can be an opportunity for people with foresight.

Twitter, wallstreet:online, Snap - Rally or Crash?
What is next for the global stock markets? Several experts are already passing around price targets of 20,000 points for the DAX due to a lack of investment alternatives. At the same time, the bear camp sees the bursting of the bubble, which was created by the massive financial injections of the FED, coming our way as early as this summer and predicts a crash of unimagined proportions.

American Water Works, Memiontec, Rio Tinto: Solid Company operating in a booming region
Water is a precious commodity - a fact now remembered since the recent flood disaster in parts of Rhineland-Palatinate and North Rhine-Westphalia. People without access to clean water are more likely to suffer from infectious diseases. What is only an issue here for a few weeks after natural disasters is sadly commonplace in other regions. It is not without reason that access to clean drinking water has long been a human right. Protecting water supplies is also a duty for companies. It is no wonder that investments in clean water can yield good returns.

Mineworx Technologies, Siemens, Bayer - Innovation is the trump card
Since 2005, the Boston Consulting Group has annually selected the world's 50 most innovative companies. The list reads like a "Who's Who" of international heavyweights: Apple, Alphabet, Amazon, Microsoft and Tesla took the top 5 spots in 2021. In total, the United States was able to occupy 26 of the 50 spots - that is an impressive number. But German companies also find their way into the illustrious circle 9 times, including Siemens and Bayer. Why is innovation so important? Innovation is a key success factor for a company to achieve above-average results and differentiate itself from competitors. For this reason, we take a closer look at innovative companies in different industries. Who is your favorite?

Microsoft, Daimler, Mineworx Technologies - Market leaders on the rise!
The claim to market leadership can be made by the Company that can demonstrate the largest market share in comparison with the other market participants. The measure of market share is based either on market volume or market sales in units. Some typical attributions are the market leader in Germany, the European market leader or the world market leader in a relevant product sales market. Of course, market leadership is not indisputable, especially from a subjective point of view. A broader focus is needed to determine who sets the tone.

Nel ASA, Memiontec, McPhy - Ride the wave
The world is in a state of flux. Due to the change from fossil fuels to renewable energies, everyone is talking about the shortage of raw materials such as lithium, nickel, or copper. However, the fact that there could be a water shortage is not yet ingrained in the population's consciousness. With the growing population, urbanization and the depletion of existing sources, water will become a precious commodity in the coming decades. New types of water treatment systems offer great potential.

Mineworx Technologies, Nel ASA, Nordex - Recycling Capitalism the coming super trend?
It all started with recycling bottles and moved on to renewable energy and current ESG criteria and sustainability thinking. This way of thinking is catching on more and more. The number of vegetarians and vegans is growing steadily. Recently, single-use plastic products have been banned and are no longer allowed to be produced in the EU. Less raw materials should be used, and the products should be used as often as possible - think of car-sharing - and at the end of their life, the raw materials used should be recycled. In this way, the world could make do with its existing resources, and future generations would benefit. This new approach is also finding its way into several publicly traded companies, three of which we will look at today.
