Gold mining stocks in takeover fever! Barrick Mining and Newmont are selling! B2Gold neighbor Desert Gold in the crosshairs?
Takeover fever is sweeping through the gold sector. The typical cycle of the industry appears to be repeating itself once again: with the rising price of gold, which remains solidly above USD 3,600, the appetite for takeovers is also growing. Gold producers are earning more, and banks and private equity firms are opening their coffers for mergers and acquisitions. For large and small mining companies alike, the current market phase offers an opportunity to expand their portfolios, optimize projects, or reposition themselves through strategic sales and purchases. Barrick and Newmont are currently raising billions through asset sales, boosting their war chests. In contrast, Desert Gold - a neighbor of B2Gold - could soon see a partner come on board or even become an acquisition target. Analysts see significant upside potential for the share.

Equinox Gold, AJN Resources, K92 Mining – Gold boom with clear signals
The price of gold is currently only moving in one direction: Steeply upwards! After jumping above the previous record high of USD 3,500 per ounce, the USD 4,000 mark is now within reach. Central banks are buying massively, and investors are seeking security amid geopolitical crises, thereby driving up prices. Gold mining stocks are now benefiting enormously from this development. We present three stocks that are particularly in focus and are being carried by the current momentum.

The Hidden Champions of 2025: Puma, Sranan Gold and AMD – Where it might be worth getting in
As an investor, it is often wise to find hidden gems rather than buy expensive market leaders. While large corporations are often overvalued, undervalued small caps offer unique opportunities. Whether as turnaround candidates, commodity gems, or technology leaders, these specialized companies have the potential to dominate their niches and initiate a quiet catch-up rally. For savvy investors, this second tier is the real source of above-average returns. Three promising candidates that embody this profile are sporting goods manufacturer Puma, gold explorer Sranan Gold, and chip designer AMD. Let's take a look at their current situation.

Will Trump's tariffs be stopped by the courts? Gold and silver on the rise – Deutz, Desert Gold, Renk, and Hensoldt in focus
A US appeals court has declared most of Trump's tariffs unlawful under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) of 1977. This law allows the president to take economic measures against foreign countries in the event of a declared national emergency. However, no such national emergency currently exists. Instead, the US economy is growing at a moderate pace, while benefiting from the energy supply emergencies in Europe and further defense support for Ukraine. The US is no longer simply giving these goods away; instead, it now provides loans or sells them to allied countries. This creates significant uncertainty in the markets, which in turn is fueling defense stocks as well as gold and silver. New highs were reached at USD 3,640 for gold and USD 41.5 for silver. Where do the opportunities lie for investors?

Gold and defense stocks are unstoppable! Barrick Mining, Deutz, Dryden Gold
Gold and defense stocks are currently dominating the markets. The price of gold has reached a new record high of over USD 3,600 per troy ounce, and experts are forecasting prices of up to USD 5,000. Barrick Mining is finally benefiting from this. The investor favorite has jumped and gained 50%. Newmont has performed even better. Investors are now betting on successful explorers like Dryden Gold. The Canadians are reporting strong drilling results, and analysts see considerable potential. The latest "gap drilling" also highlights that the Gold Rock project could develop into a large-volume deposit. Only defense stocks can almost keep up with the performance of gold. Deutz surprised investors with a takeover in the drone sector and is trading at its highest level since 2007. Analysts praise the move, and the chances of inclusion in the MDAX are increasing.

Fed turnaround and Chinese restrictions: How Deutsche Bank, Globex Mining, and Barrick Mining are positioned
Two forces are currently driving global financial markets. On the one hand, there is the US Federal Reserve's monetary policy turnaround and on the other, China's restrictions on commodity exports. This dynamic is driving volatility and creating unique opportunities in the commodities and finance sectors. Against this backdrop, it is worth taking a look at three companies. We examine Deutsche Bank, which is excelling in its home market, Globex Mining with its huge commodities portfolio, and industry leader Barrick Mining, which is benefiting from historically high precious metal prices.

Opendoor, Almonty Industries, BioNTech – Great opportunities outside the tech bubble
While the Nasdaq 100 continued to lose momentum last week, along with leading tech stocks, the crisis metal gold celebrated a new all-time high at USD 3,586 per ounce. The escalating geopolitical crises and the intensifying trade war between the US and China are likely to drive prices for critical raw materials in the long term. Western producers remain attractively valued.

GOLD EXPLOSION to USD 5,000? Barrick Mining, Sranan Gold, and First Majestic Silver! Better than Rheinmetall?
While experts predict prices of over EUR 2,200 for Rheinmetall, they believe gold could reach USD 5,000 per ounce. This puts mining stocks back in the spotlight after lagging behind the precious metal's performance for a long time. Barrick Mining is showing signs of life and has begun a recovery after several challenging years. However, things could get even more exciting for explorers, such as Sranan Gold. The Company is attractively valued, and following high-grade sampling, a drilling program has just been launched. This drill program benefits from historical data from gold giant Iamgold. Meanwhile, the price of silver is also picking up again and now stands at over USD 40. First Majestic Silver is delivering exploration results that support its growth potential.

Tariff shock for Trump, Concerns about US banks, Gold hype: Globex Mining, Newmont, Bank of America
In recent months, many feared the US was on a path toward dictatorship. Fortunately, this is not yet the case, as demonstrated recently by a US federal appeals court ruling, which declared 75% of Donald Trump's tariffs to be illegal. The judges involved ruled independently of their political leanings – both supporters and opponents of the tariffs included Republicans and Democrats. While this is not such a bad thing for US political culture, it does harbour enormous risks: tariffs worth billions could now be reversed, and the US Federal Reserve may once again delay its planned interest rate cuts. One clear beneficiary of this uncertainty has been gold, with the precious metal reaching a new all-time high. We highlight the opportunities.

All-Time High for Gold, Volatility Rising! thyssenkrupp, AJN Resources, Airbus, and Lufthansa in Focus
The stock market is preparing for a hot fall. While inflation figures show no sign of weakening, gold and silver are climbing to new record levels. Rising debt levels and growing geopolitical tensions are fueling this trend. So far, capital markets have largely held their ground without major losses. However, US President Donald Trump's trade policy has suffered a severe setback. With his plan to impose comprehensive tariffs on goods from almost all countries in the world, invoking an emergency law from 1977, he has clearly exceeded his powers, and the courts are now stepping in. One clear warning sign: volatility is high, and valuations have reached extreme levels. The Shiller P/E ratio for the S&P 500 now stands at 40, far above the historical range of 15 to 27 over the last 30 years - making 2025 an absolutely exceptional year in terms of overvaluation. We are on the lookout for promising stocks, and gold should not be overlooked as a strategic portfolio addition.
