Panasonic, Samsung SDI, and NEO Battery Materials: Three paths into the battery age

  • samsung sdi
  • panasonic
  • NEO Battery Materials

Whether it is due to failures on the part of the Western automotive industry or China's locational advantages, Beijing dominates the global battery market and openly uses this power as a geopolitical lever. Since November 2025, drastically tightened export regulations have been in place for lithium batteries, graphite anode materials, and related equipment. Production machinery and technologies are also affected. This is a wake-up call for Western industry - and an opportunity for investors: Non-Chinese battery manufacturers are increasingly coming into focus on the stock market, whether they are established players such as Panasonic and Samsung SDI or newcomers such as NEO Battery Materials.

Investing in graphene – Research unlocks opportunities: Argo Graphene Solutions, BASF, Samsung

Innovation often needs a catalyst - an event that accelerates the adoption of new technologies and pushes companies to explore new directions. The past few years have been full of such catalysts: climate change has driven efforts to reduce CO2 emissions, and the US government's rumbling attacks on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy have prompted a global rethink of defense spending. Graphene, a material of the future, is at the center of many of these developments – reason enough to explore potential investment options.

Meta Materials, Varta, Samsung SDI - This is the future!

  • metamaterials
  • Technology

Despite all international upheavals, the energy and climate turnaround remains one of the dominant issues of our time. For the moment, the race between hydrogen-based and battery-electric propulsion seems to have been decided. Tesla, Polestar, Lucid - at least in private transport, battery technology has currently prevailed. The crux of the matter remains the range, which is determined by the capacity of the electricity storage units. But energy generation also remains exciting in the course of the energy transition. So-called metamaterials, which redirect light and heat, can decisively improve our power generation.

Samsung SDI, Altech Advanced Materials, Manz - Power stocks!

  • Technology

How is the energy turnaround to be achieved exclusively with renewable energy generation? The sun does not shine at night, and the wind does not blow every day. The answer is energy storage. Batteries and accumulators will play an increasingly important role in the future. Whether for electric vehicles of all kinds (pedelecs, automobiles, buses) or as intermediate storage for renewable energies (at home on a small scale or in wind and solar parks on a large scale). Without new and increasingly efficient storage technologies, the world will not achieve climate neutrality. These three "power stocks" should benefit massively from this development.

Samsung SDI, Rock Tech Lithium, Nikola - The future is electric, and these stocks are going with it

  • Lithium

The future is electric. Battery electric, to be precise. A few years ago, there was still talk of a battle of the systems, i.e. diesel vs. hydrogen, battery vs. fuel cell, and this now seems to have been decided: the battery-electric drive has won the race - at least for the time being. However, one thing should not be underestimated: If everyone wanted to drive only battery-electric cars, there would have to be a massive expansion of the electric infrastructure with fast-charging options. And the problem of raw material supply should not be underestimated at the moment. Current battery productions still contain heaps of rare earths and metals, such as lithium, cobalt, lanthanum, etc. In the following, we present three companies that are likely to profit massively from the current e-mobility trends. So buckle up!

Samsung, Xiaomi, Silver Viper: Business is booming here

  • Silver

After the pandemic outbreak last year brought global economic activity to a brief standstill, business is now buzzing again. If you look at the statistics for sea and air freight, many transport capacities from Asia are currently fully utilized. The main reason for this is the high demand from many consumers in Germany and the USA for electrical appliances. Here's how investors can profit from this boom and why it pays to think outside the box.
