BYD, Noram Lithium, NIO: The lithium market is developing a life of its own
Chinese state capitalism is characterized by promotion and demand. Young technology has always found good conditions in China. But as soon as companies become too powerful for Beijing, they face headwinds - or at least have to stand firmly on their own two feet. Most recently, the central government announced that it would provide less support to automakers like BYD and NIO in the future. We explain what this means for investors and whether there are alternatives.

Noram Lithium, Varta, Allkem - Profit from the growing hunger for lithium!
Along with cobalt and manganese, lithium is one of the raw materials of the mobility revolution. The silvery white-grey light metal is needed to produce rechargeable batteries with a very high energy density, such as those used in electric cars. Demand is growing enormously, but there is insufficient production capacity. As a result of this constellation, the price of battery-grade lithium carbonate has risen fivefold in the last year and a half. And it does not look like the situation will ease. Mining group Rio Tinto warns that in the future, only 15% of the supply deficit of battery-grade lithium carbonate can be extracted from existing projects. Lithium producers and explorers will benefit from these conditions. Which lithium stock will make the running this year?

Daimler, Noram Lithium, Nikola - This is the breakthrough
The global race to achieve set climate targets is on in (almost) all countries. The transport sector poses a particular challenge. Despite the development of more efficient vehicles, CO2 emissions have risen over the past twenty years. The switch from cars with combustion engines to alternative energy sources must be further accelerated. While battery-powered vehicles are ahead in the passenger car sector, fuel cells are more appealing for heavier vehicles.

Standard Lithium, Altech Advanced Materials, BASF - The super battery for 2022!
Whether e-mobility, aircraft technology or renewable energies, virtually all high-tech segments are looking for a suitable energy storage device. The development driver is climate protection, which will put mobility and energy generation and distribution on a new footing in the future. More environmentally friendly battery production processes are required to bring e-mobility to a level of efficiency similar to the most modern diesel technology, as well as a significant increase in performance with a simultaneous extension of service life. After all, what good is it if a vehicle eliminates emissions during operation but creates multiple pollutions during production and disposal of the energy cell? We highlight some of the companies at the heart of the technical revolution.

Rock Tech Lithium, Noram Lithium, Volkswagen: The highflyers of tomorrow
Today, batteries for electric cars are still primarily imported from Asia. But soon, most batteries manufactured in Germany should also come from Germany. A number of factories are already under construction in Salzgitter, Göttingen, Erfurt, Kaiserslautern and Grünheide. All these production sites are united by the need for lithium. No wonder that this critical element is becoming increasingly expensive. Shares in lithium companies, therefore, offer opportunities.

Standard Lithium, Noram Lithium, American Lithium, Orocobre - Lithium at USD 25,000?
A shift toward electric drive is taking place faster than expected in the mobility of the future. "The climate crisis is the greatest challenge of our time," says Herbert Diess, CEO of the Volkswagen Group. Volkswagen was the first automaker to commit to the Paris climate agreement back in 2018. By 2050, the Company aims to be CO2-neutral on its balance sheet. Despite many technical drawbacks, political pressure, public opinion, and various tax incentives are driving some car buyers to the counter for alternative powertrains. For many important raw materials, this is creating increased demand that is currently difficult to meet. We take a look at three interesting investment opportunities in Lithium.

BASF, Osino Resources, Standard Lithium - Why does nobody believe it?
Since inflation rates have been growing, central banks have placated that price increases would only be temporary and would level off next year due to the recovery after the Corona lockdowns. Therefore, an interest rate hike is far from an issue; only the pumping of unlimited money into the capital market is to be slowed down to a snail's pace. If the high inflation rates prove permanent, only one thing will help - the flight into gold.

BYD, Noram Lithium, Siemens Energy - Door to door with Elon
Business in the electric car industry is booming, and development is fueled by the even tighter targets set by politicians at the recent World Climate Conference in Glasgow. The transformation away from coal, oil and natural gas to battery-powered vehicles is creating an enormous demand for raw materials over the next few years. In addition to copper, which due to its nature, is existential for climate change, lithium for electricity storage is a crucial element for the future of battery-powered automobiles.

Standard Lithium, Prospect Ridge Resources, American Lithium - Up, up and away!
The battery metal lithium is again on everyone's lips. The starting point in 2021 was once again the political closing of ranks after the German elections. The proponents of quick action in favor of the climate predominantly focus on electromobility, increasing the pressure, especially in the battery industry. The perfect battery has not yet been developed. The market is betting on a continuation of lithium-ion technology in the absence of alternatives. Another trend has just emerged in recent days. The precious metal shares are set to jump! No wonder because the inflation figures are taking on a momentum of their own, which the FED, in particular, has probably vastly underestimated.

Rock Tech Lithium, Noram Lithium, JinkoSolar: Investing in Tesla's neighbors
Electromobility and renewable energies are the hot topics of the moment. Only yesterday, the Tesla rival Rivian made a brilliant stock market debut. VW, too, announced that it wants to make even greater inroads in the field of electromobility. All these plans create a market worth billions for the automotive suppliers of tomorrow. At the same time, governments are doing everything they can to support the new lithium and battery supplier industry, creating significant opportunities for investors. We highlight two lithium stocks and look at a company that is winning the fuel of the future.
