The turnaround was sudden and very sharp. A few days ago, the DAX, NASDAQ and hydrogen stocks were in free fall, but the tide turned at the beginning of November. The DAX 40 jumped 600 points because the central banks on both sides of the Atlantic finally ceased tightening, and the first interest rate cuts are now expected in 2024. The hydrogen protagonists suffered losses of up to 70% in just 6 months - but Nel & Co have already made up a third of those losses. What is next for Greentech stocks?

Even now, commodity prices, which have risen exorbitantly in recent years, are correcting due to fears of a prolonged recession. In the long term, the super-cycles in critical raw materials needed for the energy transition and innovative technologies will likely continue. That is because there is already a threat of supply bottlenecks for the required industrial metals. For investors, this scenario offers a unique opportunity.

Three years ago, the Chinese battery market leader CATL presented its cell-to-pack technology to the world for the first time. A new battery with this design is now said to give e-vehicles a range of 1,000 km and super-fast charging in just 10 minutes. According to CATL, the "Qilin" battery is more powerful than Tesla's 4680 cells. CATL plans to begin mass-producing the new battery in 2023. Whether the promised distance will be achieved, however, depends on the size of the installed battery and the vehicle's aerodynamics. In Europe and North America, research and development is also being carried out at full speed because the market for e-mobility still promises growth of over 30% per annum. What is the current status in Germany?

After turbulent months on the technology stock markets with high markdowns, a bottoming out is taking place across the board. While many companies are reporting better-than-expected figures, investors are also buying oversold companies whose quarterly figures were below analysts' consensus. Due to the still high fluctuation range, high trading profits can be expected.

After the sharp corrections of the last months, the time of suffering of many shareholders of growth companies seems to be over. The companies, which have been badly affected by the stricter monetary policy, are sending clear signs of life, both in terms of charts and fundamentals. Volatility is likely to remain in the coming months. From a long-term perspective, however, there are attractive entry levels at a significantly cheaper level with opportunities for a strong rebound.

First Hydrogen, Plug Power, SFC Energy - Green hydrogen is booming!

Reducing energy dependence on Russia is currently the top priority for Europe. To this end, the expansion of renewable energy sources is being massively accelerated. However, a massive expansion of the energy grids is also necessary for a sensible distribution. In addition, storage options are needed. That is where hydrogen comes into play. Suppose it is produced from regeneratively generated electricity with the help of electrolyzers. In that case, we have a CO2-neutral energy carrier which can then be transported with little logistical effort - so-called "green hydrogen". The following companies are looking to take advantage of this.

The war in Ukraine, which is expected to last even longer, continues to weigh on the stock markets. The majority of the world community is determined to quell Putin's aggressiveness with all kinds of sanctions and bans, costing them a lot. More and more Western oil companies are leaving Russia. The share price of Gazprom, the world's largest producer of natural gas, has been pulverized in recent days. However, some sectors should also benefit from this mixed situation.

Plug Power, Enapter, SFC Energy - The hydrogen sector is alive

  • Hydrogen

Last year, a strong boom was followed by a harsh correction, which brought even market leaders to their knees with share price losses of over 50%. That hydrogen technology is enormously important for achieving climate goals should be beyond question, even at the current World Climate Conference in Glasgow. The segment has a golden future with regard to the energy transition. Position yourself now and invest in the sector with disproportionately high potential.

Plug Power, Enapter, SFC Energy - The climate savior is hydrogen!

The strong increase in energy prices is driving the inflation rate in Germany to a high level. With an increase of 4.1% compared to the same month of the previous year, inflation accelerated again in September. Already in July, the ECB thought that a cyclical high might have been reached. It has reached its highest level in almost 28 years, only in December 1993, it was once briefly above the 4% mark. These are historic times into which Western society is now moving; unfortunately, no one knows when the end will be. The efficient production of hydrogen and its industrial utilization would make our energy supply affordable and environmentally compatible in the long term. Unfortunately, the current technologies are still costly and not suitable for mass production. However, hydrogen remains a hot topic on the stock market. We take a look at some of the protagonists in the H2 thriller.
