Mini P/E, dynamic growth and ESG profile: Varta, Saturn Oil + Gas, Gazprom

  • Oil

We have associated modern energy sources, such as batteries or even hydrogen, with future investments for years. Indeed, it is extremely appealing to use renewable energies to feed both the power grids and the engines of ships and trucks. But this transformation is a Herculean task. We look at why investors have great opportunities in this regard and which shares are particularly suitable.

Barrick Gold, Troilus Gold, Gazprom - Ready for takeoff: Gold ignites now!

  • Gold

Increased geopolitical risks and inflation fears have created an initial reaction in gold. For weeks it stood motionless at USD 1,790 - 1,820. However, the intensification of the Russia-Ukraine conflict has now caused interest in precious metals to rise noticeably. The amount of gold held by the world's largest gold ETF also went up for the first time in two weeks. Since the beginning of the year, it has increased by around 3.7% to currently 981 tons. The highly regarded ARCA NYSE GOLD BUGS Index also moved significantly upwards with +7.8%. Where are the biggest opportunities in the gold market?

Gazprom, Memiontec, E.ON, Siemens Energy - Water is the oil of tomorrow!

  • Investments

In the mind of current politics, the world of tomorrow is supposed to get by without oil and petroleum products. Modern fuels with fewer emissions and the abandonment of plastic packaging could reduce the amount of oil and plastic products needed. But with this line of thinking, all countries would have to act in unison and put the petrochemical industry on the sidelines. Whether this will result in less plastic ending up in the Pacific remains questionable, but we are already experiencing one effect: a noticeable increase in the price of all energy and utility services. Green policies are nice, but they slow down economic performance considerably. Who will benefit from the long-term policy choices?

Gazprom, Desert Gold, TeamViewer - Nothing ventured, nothing gained

  • Gold

Opportunity and risk are two sides of the same coin when it comes to investing. When the market misses opportunities over a long period of time or prices in risks excessively, investment opportunities arise. Timing and investment horizon are equally part of the decision-making process. The three stocks mentioned are in an exciting phase - reason enough for a closer look.

Gazprom, Almonty Industries, Standard Lithium - Investing in commodities with high demand

  • Tungsten

2021 was the year of skyrocketing commodity prices. Many different factors played a role. One, of course, was the Corona pandemic, which caused many companies to cut back on production. As the economy recovered faster than expected, markets were undersupplied. In addition, there were supply chain difficulties, natural disasters, and export restrictions, and this is where some of the dependencies on China became apparent. Currently, too little magnesium is being produced because the Middle Kingdom is suffering from electricity shortages. Today we look at three commodity producers for which we expect demand to remain high in 2022.

Nordex, Troilus Gold, Gazprom: How investors cash in on climate-billions

  • Gold

Countries around the world are pumping billions into the expansion of renewable energies. At the same time, there is a lack of investment in fossil fuels, which are still urgently needed. We explain who is profiting from this reluctance to invest and whether, in the end, another commodity might not come out on top, using three shares as examples.

Saturn Oil + Gas, BP, Gazprom - Buy when the guns are thundering?

  • Oil

The possible impact of a new Corona variant led to significant declines in the stock markets at the end of last week. The German benchmark index lost around 1000 points within just 2 weeks. Oil and gas stocks have been hit particularly hard in recent days. The oil price lost last on a single day 11-12%. The development thus prices in, among other things, travel restrictions, lockdowns and a cooling of the economy. The tapping of strategic oil reserves, which US President Biden recently announced, plays a psychological role in the big picture in supply and demand. Much more exciting is what OPEC will soon say about its production plans. Where are the opportunities now?

Gazprom, Tembo Gold, Nvidia - Inflation and rare goods

  • Gold

Inflation has jumped not only in the USA but also in Germany. With an inflation rate of 4.5% in October, we now have the highest value in Germany in almost three decades. One driver of monetary devaluation is the cost of energy, which has become significantly more expensive, especially in the past year. While the oil price was still in negative territory at the beginning of the pandemic, it was recently quoted above USD 80. The chip shortage can be observed in the automotive industry, but graphics cards are also rare and are traded at a significant premium to the recommended retail price. Graphics cards are used for mining cryptocurrencies. It seems that bitcoin is increasingly becoming a value protection asset and competes with gold, the number one inflation protection.

Nordex, Gazprom, Saturn Oil + Gas: Rising oil and gas price drive

  • Oil

Leading politicians and industry leaders are meeting in Glasgow until November 12 for the climate conference. So far, however, there has been nothing more than "hot air" to report. Not only climate activists are disappointed. Even German Development Minister Gerd Müller criticized the interim results. "The emerging resolutions are not enough to achieve the 1.5-degree target," the CSU politician told Redaktionsnetzwerk Deutschland. There is also little news on the expansion of renewable energies. It is therefore not surprising that the oil price is picking up again. With a rise to USD 83.78, the price for the Brent variety has ended the correction. There is also no relief in sight for the price of gas. The shares of Gazprom and Saturn Oil & Gas are benefiting from this. But Nordex is also attracting attention with new orders.
