NASDAQ crash, inflation, and price shocks – Gold protects! Golden Cariboo, TUI, Lufthansa, and Carnival
Just three weeks ago, euphoria reigned on the markets, with the DAX, NASDAQ and EURO STOXX reaching new heights – now the tech rally seems to be over for the time being. Germany has voted, and a grand coalition must now take charge of the current issues. However, the challenges remain formidable, and exploratory talks are proving correspondingly tricky. It remains to be seen whether a new government will be formed soon. Donald Trump is taking a unique path in the US and is alienating all former allies. He has boldly taken up the cause of resolving the Ukraine conflict – but so far nothing has happened! China is reporting a slump in exports, while in Europe, the debt ceiling is to be relaxed in order to overcome the tough transformation of the modern age. Infrastructure has been neglected for too long, digitization is in its infancy, and now there is a dramatic need for rearmament. This smells like more debt, higher prices, and further currency devaluation - a fertile ground for gold investments, as the precious metal recently reached a new high of USD 2,950 while everything else is falling. What happens next?

TUI, Lufthansa, Alerio Gold, Carnival - Golden summer ahead, get in now!
According to a survey, people in Germany are again in the mood to travel, despite numerous concerns. However, the assessment of the personal situation has clouded compared to last year because 29% of respondents fear an economic deterioration. Due to various catch-up effects, life is returning to the travel industry after two years of pandemic restrictions. Industry representatives are also consolidating. Lufthansa has already moved into the plus zone. At TUI, there was a reverse split to make future capital increases possible again. Where should you get in now?

Turnaround: TUI, Pathfinder Ventures, Lufthansa, Carnival - Shares for the Corona travel Summer of 2022
It is exciting this summer! Can one really get out of Germany by plane? Lufthansa had recently significantly increased its program but then cancelled over 2,000 flights. Baggage and security handling is bursting at the seams, and those frustrated with the train will have to plan a few more hours to arrive with the 9 Euro ticket. The Corona pandemic has completely disrupted the travel market, there is a shortage of staff everywhere, and now a strike by the pilots' union is looming. We are looking for opportunities for investors.

TUI, Lufthansa, Alerio Gold, Carnival - This winter travel will not be golden!
The upward movement at the stock exchanges is very advanced because the higher valuation of the shares is continuously alimented by cheap money from the central banks. But now, the statistics show real inflationary pushes; for Europe, the inflation on an annual basis amounted to +4.4% in October. It is generally known that these rates do not correspond very closely to reality due to their hedonic measurement method; the actual price markup in the relevant goods is probably already beyond the 6% mark. Based on these dynamics, FED observers assume that the US central bank could double the pace of the current tapering so that bond purchases could end as early as March. That would probably have the first contractionary effects. What about gold and travel in this environment?

BB Biotech, Sativa Wellness, Carnival: Anti-aging as a megatrend
Anti-aging medicine is one of the most exciting research topics of our time. Already in 2018, Citigroup named the field as one of the ten rising topics of the future. While the pandemic has obscured many long-term ventures in the media, the work continues. People have long been optimizing and working to feel at least a little younger. We present three stocks related to biotechnology, anti-aging and wellness.

LVMH, Diamcor Mining, TUI, Carnival - Another lockdown or profit explosion?
The poor are getting poorer, and the rich are getting richer. Demographic studies suggest that in Europe, especially Germany, large sections of the population will be affected by poverty in old age. The reason: falling income in real terms due to high inflation, especially for everyday goods. The official inflation rate of the central banks is window dressing because the hedonically calculated indices include, for example, increases in the performance of mobile devices and thus compensate for the exploding prices of energy and food. Luxury is a particular area of consumption that tends to be attributed to the privileged tiers of the population. Here, the increase in prosperity is supported by inflation on the income side and enables the suppliers of luxury goods to achieve sustained high growth rates.

Carnival, Triumph Gold, TUI - It is starting again!
Since the beginning of July, the cruise ships are now sailing again. AIDA already has 5 ships on the water again, and Carnival plans to bring a capacity of 75% back onto the water in the fall. These are the plans as of today. However, concerns about the pandemic development are also spreading because the travel industry is still very tense about the infection situation in the fall. A rampant spread of various mutations caused by summer tourism is expected for the winter. The good price-performance of various travel providers in the second quarter has also gone into reverse gear again. We take a closer look.

Carnival, TUI, Desert Gold - A total upswing or is it all over again?
It is probably one of the strangest travel waves since we could remember. For months we Germans could not leave our own country's borders without great effort; the ski season in 2020/21 fell victim to the COVID pandemic almost completely. Now we experience amazingly low incidences, which probably would have come even without lockdown...but let's take that as a given because some action had to be taken as public proof of action, after all. Now travel is possible again with good conditions for the vaccinated and a bit more cumbersome for recovered, healthy and non-vaccinated. Exciting to observe: How are the travel companies doing now?

Steinhoff, Carnival, The Place Holdings - Get in now?
The market wants to go up seemingly endlessly - no more setbacks? The question arises again about the shares that have fallen behind. Some stocks have not yet been swept upwards in the general pull - perhaps for good reason. The stock market currently loves momentum. What rises usually rises further and further. Valuation has long ceased to play a role because with negative interest rates the whole financial theory is somehow undermined. In the past, an interest rate was always assumed to calculate company values or risks, which has been obsolete for 3 years, namely zero.

Royal Helium, Air Liquide, Carnival: Competence in Gas!
In 2020, hydrogen was the stuff dreams could be made of. Of course, only for the investors willing to take risks and ready to increase their bets every day. All the chips were on the table by year-end, and the hydrogen celebrities had completed rises of 1,000-1,500%. Since the beginning of this year, the top shooters have been staggering at lofty heights - and since yesterday, we have been taking note of the fact that the Norwegian NEL can fall from time to time. Presumably, the speculative investor in 2021 is now looking for a new wave that can be ridden - so far, it has not yet shown itself. Still, theoretically, it could also be gas, environmentally friendly, and available in abundance. Why not?
