The reporting season has just started, and the first profit warnings are already here. Grenke warns of increasing provisions, Super Micro Computer is keen to submit figures, but the auditor has resigned. There is good news, however, from Evotec, BioNTech, and BioNxt, with their bottoming phases seemingly behind them. In an environment of falling interest rates, biotech stocks could now appear in a new light. Currently, everyone is looking west because the world's largest economic power is electing a new president. Once the uncertainty clears, markets may continue their positive trend. We have some interesting investment ideas in store.

Nvidia, Meta Materials, Grenke AG - Great chances for a comeback

  • Innovations

The stock market year 2022 has left its mark on many companies. Especially for technology stocks, losses beyond 50% were the rule rather than the exception. Fears of rising inflation and the central banks' change of strategy to a strict monetary policy caused investors to throw capital-intensive stocks overboard. The situation on the interest rate front is now easing, which could mean that the massive exaggerations in several stocks are likely to correct again soon.

Grenke, TUI, RYU: Success with comeback stocks

  • Investments

When companies are punished by the market, it usually leads to negative exaggerations. When it became clear after the outbreak of the pandemic that tourism was in the doldrums, investors even cautiously priced in bankruptcy for travel and tourism company TUI. When Grenke was confronted with accusations about opaque balance sheets, the share price also plummeted. We look at three shares to see how the market can continue after such price corrections and whether they offer opportunities.

Grenke, wallstreet:online, flatexDEGIRO - Multibagger: The incredible development continues!?

  • Brokerage

Multibaggers are stocks that have multiplied in value. Peter Lynch, the former star fund manager, coined the term tenbagger. This term refers to shares that have increased tenfold in value. The idea is not pure speculation, but to find growth companies and participate in their successes over the long term. The list of success stories is long but also just as varied. If you look at the top performers' rankings of the last decades, some even disappear from the rankings because they (temporarily) crashed or were overtaken. We present three companies below. The first still belongs to the multibagger category but is currently going through hard times. Despite their brilliant share price performance, the other two companies are growth stories that invite you to buy.

Long or Short? TUI AG, AdTiger, Grenke, AMC Entertainment

Bitcoin USD 48,000 - there is not much left until the next level. With these stock market movements, many participants are asking themselves where the fair valuation of the whole thing lies. The question is legitimate, but even at the turn of the millennium during the dot.com boom, anyone who asked simply received a nice smile. People don't ask here; they buy. At GameStop, the new stock market investors didn't ask either. Some earned a lot, and others now own a stock they bought at USD 485 and can now only sell at USD 51. That is a 90% loss in just 2 weeks. This side also belongs to the stock exchange - total losses are possible!

Grenke, Delivery Hero, Desert Gold: Momentum shares on hold

  • Investments

There are stocks where there is something in the air. For some of them, the trend is ultimately negative, others never pick up speed, and others just take off. Three of these potential momentum stocks are Grenke, Delivery Hero, and Desert Gold. At Grenke, the eyes of the market are focused on the accusations of balance sheet manipulation. Although the Baden-Baden-based Company has hired external auditors, suspended supervisory board posts, and announced a complete investigation, the share price is still not getting off the ground. For experienced investors, this means that something is coming to a head!

K+S, Grenke, Desert Gold: When does uncertainty become an opportunity?

  • Investments

When shares make losses over weeks and months, shareholders hope for an end to the sell-off. Potential buyers ask themselves whether the investment opportunity has already arisen. But the end of a downward trend can always only be determined afterward and can hardly ever be determined exactly. Rather, investors must shed light on the background to a price decline to decide whether it is permanent or merely temporary. The K+S fertilizer group has already been selling off for many years - on a five-year horizon a loss of more than 80% has been recorded - but what is the reason for this?

Grenke, JinkoSolar, Velocity Minerals - continue buying gold or are there alternatives?

  • Investments

Nowhere in the world, was more gold bought in the first six months of 2020 than in Germany. Coins and bars in the amount of about 83 tons went into the hands of the citizens. According to the World Gold Council, this represents an increase of 120% compared to the same period last year and equates to roughly EUR 4.4 billion in value. Those investors who do not want to be involved in the storage of gold, but still want a well-diversified portfolio with precious metal content, should look at shares in the value chain.
