COP27 shares sought: BASF, Infinity Stone, Varta, VW - Billions for the energy turnaround!

  • Mining
  • Electromobility
  • Commodities
  • Metals

The meeting of the heads of government in Egypt was proclaimed as a COP27 climate conference, but most of the representatives arrived in a somewhat environmentally hazardous manner with specially ordered aircraft. It can be seen on the Internet on the fringes of the important conference, and climate activists have therefore turned their eyes very strongly in the direction of the prominent participants. Different sources report between 300 and 600 planes around Sharm el-Sheikh airport. What a farce. The word "energy turnaround" seems to have been greatly overused in the public eye since the beginning of the war at the latest, so a coherent implementation of the proclaimed goals should also take place at the very top. The industry, meanwhile, has picked up the ball and is making rapid progress. Which shares can gain traction in the process?

The second Rock Tech Lithium? This is how Mercedes-Benz profits! Jack of all trades Infinity Stone Ventures

  • Mining
  • Lithium

Anyone who has followed analysts' reports on lithium over the past few years knew that the price of this critical raw material for batteries was about to rise exponentially, reminiscent of the gloomiest forecasts of the pandemic - only extremely positively. Putting the actual price curve next to it shows that lithium has shot up almost vertically in recent years and has already reached the level of the 2030 forecasts. Using three stocks as examples, we outline what this means and how investors can take advantage of this market anomaly.

BYD, Infinity Stone Ventures, Rock Tech Lithium - Profiteers of the energy transition

  • Mining
  • Lithium
  • Electromobility
  • Commodities

Electromobility plays a central role in achieving the ambitious goal of climate neutrality by 2050. Despite current production difficulties in the automotive industry due to the ongoing chip shortage, global supply chain problems and the effects of the war in Ukraine, demand for battery-powered vehicles continues unabated worldwide, as can be seen from the sales figures of electric car manufacturers. However, there is a problem here: the critical raw material lithium is already becoming scarce for the production of electric batteries. As a result, the already high prices are likely to rise further in the long term - to the advantage of the lithium producers.

BYD, Infinity Stone Ventures, Rock Tech Lithium - Electromobility with rapid growth ahead

  • Mining
  • Lithium
  • Electromobility

The IEA (International Energy Agency) has recently issued forecasts for the growth of electromobility up to 2030. While only about 10% of all vehicles were electric in 2021, this figure is expected to rise to at least 60% by 2030. That would significantly reduce emissions, but the energy transition requires raw materials from copper to cobalt to lithium, which is essential for the production of batteries for e-cars. S&P Global has calculated that even if all existing lithium projects were to go into production, there would still be a supply deficit of 220,000 to 2 million tons in 2030. Reason enough to take a closer look at three companies based on the sector.

Do not miss this train! Volkswagen, Varta, Infinity Stone Ventures

  • Mining
  • Lithium
  • Electromobility

After the sell-off and crisis mood, the first investors are looking to the distant future. Now that the market has already priced in a recession and the energy crisis also seems to be largely represented in share prices, it is worth looking at the sectors that offer opportunities in any future. Car manufacturers and mobility providers remain attractive regardless of the current market situation. The reason: mobility is the key to prosperity and well-being. Just think of journeys to work or on vacation. The mobility of the future will be electric. Positioning oneself here makes sense. We take a look at three shares that are currently in focus.

Higher, faster, further: BYD, Infinity Stone, Porsche, Varta - The energy transition stock portfolio is wanted!

  • Mining
  • Gold
  • Electromobility
  • GreenTech

The words "energy turnaround" are used a lot in public. The majority understand it to mean the use of GreenTech to generate energy while avoiding dangerous climate gases. Unfortunately, the leaks from the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, which is not in operation, are leaking the amount of gas into the atmosphere every day that the state of Denmark consumes in an entire week. This makes us painfully aware of how strongly warlike actions counteract efforts to save the climate. On the stock market, it is important to turn our gaze away from current events and toward a more peaceful future, where good ideas for sustainable change will also be rewarded. Which stocks belong in the portfolio?

Allkem, Infinity Stone, FREYR Battery - Nobody can avoid these stocks!

  • Mining
  • Commodities
  • renewableenergies

The current energy crisis makes us painfully aware of how much we have slept through the restructuring of our energy supply in recent decades. The famous scientist Carl Sagan explained in a speech already in 1990, 32 years ago, why a restructuring of the energy supply makes sense completely apart from the effects of the greenhouse effect. Namely, reducing dependence on difficult supplier countries, increasing energy security by extension of fossil resources, and stimulating the economy by creating new industries. Now, finally, we seem to be on the right track. Shareholders can also benefit greatly - if they back the right horses.

Analysts are bullish on BYD, less bullish on Varta and news from Infinity Stone Ventures

  • Mining
  • Commodities
  • Electromobility
  • Lithium

In terms of sales figures, BYD has already overtaken industry star Tesla. But the share could not benefit from this due to the partial sales of major shareholder Berkshire Hathaway. After the price slide, it now seems to be regaining its footing. Analysts are bullish and see great opportunities for the Chinese e-car maker in foreign expansion, among other things. Experts see few opportunities at Varta at the moment, and the chart is battered. Most recently, an analyst reduced the price target to EUR 65. The newsflow currently offers little hope. Infinity Stone Ventures is an entirely different story. The specialist for critical raw materials in Canada benefits from the political environment and is expanding its lithium areas. More news can be expected in the fall.

XPeng, Infinity Stone Ventures, Rock Tech Lithium - Enormous growth potential

  • Mining
  • Lithium
  • Electromobility
  • Batteries

Bad news for all BYD shareholders, stock market legend Warren Buffett is selling off part of his shares, causing the recently strongly performing stock to falter. Despite the short-term share price turbulence of the Chinese market leader, e-mobility is set for exponential growth in the coming years due to the achievement of climate targets. This development, in turn, is fueling global lithium demand. The raw material needed to build electric car batteries is already becoming scarce. The main beneficiaries of the shortage are likely to be producers of the metal.
