Alerio Gold, Aixtron, Siltronic - The signs point to growth!

  • Gold

The US Federal Reserve (Fed) has for some time begun to scale back bond purchases massively and will raise the key interest rate at its next meeting in March. Semiconductor manufacturers have indicated that the chip shortage will level off over the course of the year. How will these developments affect commodity prices and cryptocurrencies?

Barrick Gold, Standard Lithium, Alerio Gold: Commodity stocks after the crash

  • Gold

Lithium and gold stocks have little in common at first glance. The lithium sector has undergone a severe correction in recent weeks. Albemarle, for example, has lost around 30% in value. In the case of the 2021 investor darling, Standard Lithium, it was almost 50%. What lasted only a few weeks in the case of lithium has dragged on for months in the case of gold shares. Again, industry heavyweights like Barrick Gold and young producers like Alerio Gold are trading well below their highs. And this brings us to the common thread. Both lithium and gold stocks appear ripe for a rebound. The lithium price is trading near all-time highs, and gold is trading back above USD 1,800. In addition, Barrick has released top numbers. Alerio Gold and Standard Lithium are also worth a closer look.

Nel ASA, Alerio Gold, Siemens - Difficult times

  • Gold

Following the outbreak of the Corona pandemic, with its lockdowns and restrictions, the DAX has been going nowhere but up since its low of 7968.50 points on March 16, 2020. The world's leading indices also posted one high after another. Now the mood is changing due to fears of a tighter monetary policy by central banks. The question will be whether financial guardians can contain skyrocketing inflation rates without choking off growth. Along the way, the focus is likely to be on the sovereign debt ratios, which are rising sharply. It is unlikely to be possible to raise key interest rates too much. Therefore, even if the precious metals remain in a short-term correction, gold is likely to be one of the winners of the current process.

Barrick Gold, Alerio Gold, First Majestic - Experts agree: 2022 will be the year of mining stocks

  • Gold

2021 was a consistently strange year. Corona surprised with more new variants, Olaf Scholz became German Chancellor and the prices for gold and silver, despite ever-rising inflation, developed downwards towards the end year. While in the past many investors have relied on cryptocurrencies as a hedge against inflation, perhaps the recent price capers of the leading cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, could make investors rethink.

Alerio Gold, Steinhoff, Windeln.de - Get rich with penny stocks or Tesla?

  • Gold

Elon Musk currently has a calculated net worth of about USD 280 billion, which has increased by about 80% in 2021 alone. When it comes to capital assets, this makes him the wealthiest person in the world. In 2021, he sold about 15.6 million Tesla shares with an equivalent value of USD 16.4 billion. The situation is hugely bizarre from several angles. For one, Musk had put the tax-motivated sale of shares in the electric carmaker to a vote on the Twitter platform in early November. The majority of users favored a sale in support of empty state coffers. What was interesting about this event was the reaction of the Tesla share because, after a brief dip, it went to new highs despite the continued sales of the major shareholder. This oddity was certainly a historical marker of the stock market year 2021.

Barrick Gold, Rock Tech Lithium, Alerio Gold: 2022 - Precious metals instead of lithium?

  • Gold

Lithium was one of the high flyers among commodities in 2021. Will 2022 see a comeback in precious metals and mining stocks in particular? Many investors ask themselves this at the end of a horror year for gold and silver. The industry has not benefited from the significant rise in inflation this year. While the gold price has "only" lost around 6% in 2021, the impacts on mining stocks have been more severe. The GDX has lost about 20%, and the GDXJ almost 30%. At the same time, with a current gold price of around USD 1,800, good money can be earned, and the exploration of new projects also makes sense. Shares like cash machine Barrick and newcomer Alerio are worth a look. But lithium will also remain in demand. Tesla neighbor Rock Tech could benefit from this.

Steinhoff, Alerio Gold, TUI - Cheap does not have to be cheap

  • Gold

Everyone is probably familiar with the situation where you have bought something cheaply and are annoyed afterward that you did not invest a little more money because repairs are constantly needed or similar difficulties arise. So cheap can become expensive in the long run. Shares below EUR 10 usually seem reasonable, but this conclusion can be deceptive. Even expensive stocks are not automatically better. Whether a security has potential can only be judged after reviewing the fundamental data, the news situation, and the industry analysis of a company. A chart analysis at the end often gives an interested investor an accurate picture of whether a stock is actually lucrative. Today, we take a close look at three inexpensive stocks in this regard.

TeamViewer, Alerio Gold, Nvidia - Important impulses

  • Gold

The stock markets breathe a sigh of relief, with worries about the spread of the new Omicron variant being pushed aside for the time being. After a consolidation in the area around 15,200 points, the DAX also resumes its rebound towards 16,000 points. The year-end rally is alive and well. Driven by good news, the TeamViewer share can also send the first sign of life after the substantial price losses of the past weeks. Is this a sustainable trend reversal or merely a breather in the overarching downward movement?

TUI, Lufthansa, Alerio Gold, Carnival - This winter travel will not be golden!

  • Gold

The upward movement at the stock exchanges is very advanced because the higher valuation of the shares is continuously alimented by cheap money from the central banks. But now, the statistics show real inflationary pushes; for Europe, the inflation on an annual basis amounted to +4.4% in October. It is generally known that these rates do not correspond very closely to reality due to their hedonic measurement method; the actual price markup in the relevant goods is probably already beyond the 6% mark. Based on these dynamics, FED observers assume that the US central bank could double the pace of the current tapering so that bond purchases could end as early as March. That would probably have the first contractionary effects. What about gold and travel in this environment?
